Well, if I remember correctly Worms: Armageddon was the last 2D one on PC.

# 23 Swat 4, close enough. The only tactile FPS since Operation Flashpoint that actually held my attention. It is decent compared what else is out there.

Quest for Glory 4 is the one. After a patch, it runs like a dream, though I prefer the first (in VGA) and the third.

The "trailer" was gameplay footage of Fallout 3, the Van Buren (SP?) project. It was canned, the rights to Fallout were bought by Bethesda.

The next Fallout will be a FPS (YUCK!) and will suck like Elder Scrolls.

The only good FPS-RPG was Deus Ex and System Shock, otherwise: NO!

 

#18 Dungeons and Dragons ? All I know is that I have played that game many years ago and it was super cool - I remember some dungeon with skeleton inside... just some little details.

I really like RPG games, oh and BTW Morrowind was a piece of a good RPG IMO.
And what I have heard is that Fallout 3 is going to be a MMORPG not a FPS, all we have to do now is just wait and look at this site:

That picture is changing, once It was a destroyed capitol in Washington DC (please correct me if I'm wrong).

 

#18 is an awesome RPG from Sierra (so no on D&D), FPS for traveling, team/turn-based combat, kick ass story.

#7 was made by the same people that made Crusader (my sig), just older.

Fallout 3 will not be a MMO (thank bob almighty!), but being made by Bethesda, it will be a dumbed down FPS-RPG (like all of their other titles).

Fallout is THE RPG (any rpg you can beat without killing anyone deserves praise), and unless it were to be made by Blackisle or Trokia (both dead), it will just suck.
