Eternal Champions: Challenge from Dark Side was fun... Isn't there a combo video for that game???

I do hope that these 2 titles can compete with what Ono-san will unveil soon...

I hope these are at least by Platinum Games or Sega itself. AvP was by Rebellion and Alpha Protocol is by Obsidian, both of which are western PC/console devs mainly. I don't look to Sega to make the next great WRPG or FPS. I want something out of their own catalog.

    FIGHTERS MEGAMIX 2!

With that out of the way, I'd settle for Last Bronx 2.

They did something similar with Final Fight on the PS2 but what fans of those series want is a good evolution of the original games that doesn't change the style of the game. Look at the new contra games for instance or the 2d Bionic Commndo.

I'd really like some good new scrolling beat em ups with co-op play on and offline. Golden Axe Beast Rider and Final Fight Streetwise were nothing like that and were poor efforts.

Agreed. [IMG] SoR2 had the best soundtrack imo...

I do wish that there was a SoR HDR that allowed the player to play through the game as the boss characters. They have about the same amount of moves as the main characters, so it would be interesting to see maybe Axel and R. Bear on the same team...

ON a quick sidebar, does anyone here want Shiva's theme in FS???

Anyway, I do hope Sega has a real 'hardcore' title, and I'm hoping they understand that 'hardcore' is a niche or a type of gamer and not a genre of games <inserting 'imo' for gp>...

There was a rumor that Demon's Souls 2 was being worked on back in January or February, and I was very excited. Then a few weeks ago I read a statement from the developers that there is no sequel under development, nor do they have any intention to develop one.

What I'm trying to say is, even if FS isn't announced now, I still have hope.

If Sega were to announce "2 major titles" (obviously to make some nice profits) why would they make 2 hardcore games? I'm not trying to say that they aren't developing 2 "hardcore games" I'm just wondering why they would be doing so.

I played one of the House of the Dead games the other day after watching Predator's and my bro's gun wasn't calibrated properly and the aiming was completely fucked! LOL.

I'd love to see more light gun games on consoles actually. The only problem with them is you splash out on the gun and everything then you realise you play a game with unlimited continues, you finish the game, and don't really have much incentive to play it again.

I dont even know what the term hardcore means anymore.

Quake 3 and Timesplitters 2 felt hardcore but Modern Warfare is about as mainstream as videogames get. Also titles like the Mario games were the most casual games you could get in the SNES days but Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door and Super mario Galaxy 1 & 2 are among the most hardcore games i've ever played.

You can be sure that one of the 2 will be a new Bayonetta.
