So you're basically saying SF4 is a shitty game with no depth, lol.

Basically nothing you said there related to the game-play at all... Who gives a flying fuck about cut-scenes??? Come on dude!!!

You guys need to throw away all the preconceived BS and enjoy it for what it is... I almost can't believe some of what I'm reading!

Ha ha, exactly the opposite. I'm terrible and the game is VERY deep. (Obviously you knew that but you're a flame-baiter...)

May be, but people who were very good at ST/3S/CVS2 will automatically have very strong advantage over SF newcomers.

Hell, one of the guys playing here practiced all the SF4 Sagat stuff in CVS2 and nailed everything the first day, lol.

This is more close to trolling than Jeneric's posts of pessimism.

My only SF4 experience is playing a little bit in the local arcade & translating some stuff from the master guide, haven't played the console version yet but as i understand it nothing has really changed.

    <div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body">takes two or three variations to get it right</div></div>

They got this right the first time. From what I can see, there aren't any unwinnable matchups, there's a core of universal techniques, still good character variation . . . honestly pretty impressive in terms of balance for a capcom game. If you don't like the game, its probably due to aesthetic differences or dislike of pacing / damage. The game certainly isn't broken.

<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body"> Tech throw Window is about as small as a rats nostril?</div></div>

Throw escape window is 1/2 the size of VF. Given that you don't have multiple throw directions to worry about, seems pretty reasonable to me. . .

I felt this was about soul calibuer 4 when i first pick it up and now everybody sees how much of a waste it was. Do i expected to be a master of SF4 no but if developers are screaming it when back to the Raw basics so Newcomers can keep up to the good players then that shit is garbage.I've been playing games long enough to know if im good at it i should be rewarded for all the hardwork i put in.As far as my obsession over every move being safe is reasonable to me.Since im quite sure you just got into playing fighters you would never understand the nture of the beast. As far as Zangier goes i knew this from the Videos of the so called High Level players.I warned you about SC4 and you did'nt listen so when will you Gern?

What makes you think you're a damn good player if you lose to noobs? Maybe a little humility would work and you can punish a lot more in this game then you might think.

I can't improve to help noobs SDS, being myself a crybaby noob, you should know I blame the game each time I lose (that means very often).

Ok, here's my worthless, flame-baiting, two pennies:

Why in the fuck does Sagat (and the rest of the cast for that matter) still not have at least ONE new move? No, variations on their supers don't count. It's been how many years? The same special moves that he had in SF2?
    Is this SF4 or SF2 3D?
Capcom, are you freaking kidding me?
Is this really Sagat's special move list:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IzQKIL-pjrk

Plz tell me they missed something here. Not even ONE FREAKING NEW MOVE. It's 2009, this game has been around for over a decade and Capcom can't "risk" coming up with some new moves for these old characters?
You guys give SF too much of a free pass. If this was ANY other fighting game and they tried this shit, you guys would be in an uproar (I hope).

Fuck SF until they can actually freaking EVOLVE. It's been long enough people, it's time to demand more from a fighter than the same old tired formula that they've been using for over a decade.

Oh and this is also a shot at people who don't like it when VF tries new stuff like the addition of OM or side guard. EVOLVE OR DIE. MOVE FORWARD OR GET LEFT BEHIND. /rant

Well, all the EX moves are new /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

I do believe some normals are altered too. I think Sagat is actually more based on CVS2 Sagat then SF2.

Cause i am Motherfucker..What the fuck you thought?

Then you have the nerve to say sagat is his fucking CVS counterpart? What the fuck is so fun about that? The same bullshit ass strats.Capcom games are pure Poke-Fests.

Feel free to get your ass bust anytime you feel like Jeneric. you see the gamertag.

The Practice Mode is Free after you paid for the game.

@ Tony - you hit it right on the fucking head brother. At least with a parry i can stop a Ex fireball spam. His fuck WK tiger knee leave you fucking helpless not even at disadvantage but helpless.

Konjou this shit is weak and i wish i would've bootlegged it.

This is why I wouldn't bother with the game UNLESS I play Viper.

Cause I already got bored and tired of the old fanfare, characters having the same old moves they had for 20 years etc. I got tired of it.

Good post. This right here though, again, is why I ONLY play Viper. Shit is like a brand new game, period.

STHD was gay as shit, and I wasted money buying that game - there was alot of things wrong with that game and I thought after the 2nd day but I suck at STHD, so I kept my opinion about it to myself on VFDC I just spoke about to vets on srk.

SC4 wasn't good at all, but I didn't waste my money with the game it was still fun and probably still is fun.

I'm pretty easy to please with games, cause games are just games. I find the cool stuff in it and stick to that. I didn't even unlock any characters yet, cause Viper is fun enough.

Maybe that right there's why I'm having fun with all this stuff now. The closest I came to really getting into SF was when I played 3rd Strike for a little on Live. There's very little fighting game community around where I live, save Smash Bros., so actually getting to play any of this against people regularly is new to me. Pretty much was the same deal with VF.
