Well it depends which country are we talking... In Japan Balrog is kinda sucky but he gets stronger (and bigger and blacker and meaner) abroad... Also, he is!

For me it's Zangief, Cammy and probably Abel /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif I love Muay Thai, but I just can't get into playing Sagat. His design is flawless if you ask me, but there's just something about his specials that makes me go "meh" /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif

Also... as far as I wouldn't call them my mains, who hasn't tried playing Ryu or Ken? /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

Abel is my main. Akuma coming in a close second. With hints of wanting to play Ryu

 

I'm gonna play C. Viper so I can lose even more, haha. She's so hard to use, but really fun!!!

I really didn't see myself 'maining' anyone other than Fei. But man, Gen is too much fun to me. So I'll rep the Chinese connection and say those two are my mains.

Her ultra set ups though, are serious business, tough to execute and a huge gamble if you break the combo, but it's been putting me in the winners circle alot more now.

 

Maining Chun Li, Cammy as secondary, and Dan for fun.

 

Would me saying I play Seth as my main disqualify me as being a "real" street fighter player?

 

Chun Li will always be favorite but as of late I am leaning towards Fei Long and Rose more and more as of late.

 

If you can play him do it. It is all about how he is played, he is a unique character when he is played the right way. I don't see very many people play him anyways.

 

Depends if he's allowed in tourneys, but I seriously doubt that (same for gouken ofc)
spending hours to train a bonus char unplayable in official event is from my PoV a waste of time

 

Why would you want to play as Seth? He's crap.

 

None has said they will be banned. As of now everyone is fair game. Gouken requires a lot of insight and prediction of your opponent to play. Seth does crap for damage and takes damage like a bitch.

There really isn't a reason to ban anyone atm as it's fairly balanced. Yes there are characters like sagat (what a surprise) who have clear advantages, but it's not huge
