Is there any difference between PS3 and 360 Versions?
I'm planning to get one which is cheaper.

Stop comparing a horrible netcode that DR had to the PS3 network as a whole when that not the case. The PSN is as or not better than XBL connection wise. Motherfuckers need to kill that noise, this ain't 2006. PSN is where the comp is, nuff said. I buy fighting games for BOTH systems and the only fighting game that had a iffy code at the beginning besides the obvious, DR. Was SSF2HD:R in the beginning, and that's it. BlazBlue competition was far better on the PSN than LIVE, same with SCIV and SFIV. There's far more international players on the PSN than LIVE. I play alot of online games on both systems(Look at my gamercards on both systems)And I get a better experience on the PSN than LIVE. Most of you guys don't even have games on the PS3(I looked at ya gamertags)So therefore, I can't take some of you folks opinions seriously. Anyway, here's my copies of the game for the 360 and PS3

When you make a post like this:

It's hard to take your opinion seriously, as it just reeks of fanboy bias.

Also, you have contradicted yourself with that picture.

Who said I bought this on 360, son? I ain't pay cash for that shit son. I own both consoles, you don't end of story.

^That was an obvious joke and what ShinobiFist is saying is 100% true. Online play on both systems are 100% identical netplay wise. I also buy games on both systems to play with everyone I can, and there is no difference when it comes to input delay and stability.

I'll be on Tekken when it releases next week and I may be on it for good if the online play is up to par.

I got all gold on elite on HD and Fury so I don't play anymore : (.

I thought I sent you a friend request a long time ago but I wasn't sure if you accepted. I'm on PS3 #2 and I changed accounts so I'm not even using the GentlemanThief account anymore.

I heard something about frame data coming out next week or something? anyone know anything about that?

So I'm guessing that you have played both versions online and you KNOW that both versions have the same online capabilities, well, if that's the case... I may have to buy the PS3 version later on when the price goes down... but I ain't shelling out another $60 that's for sure, lol.

LOL, I'm just venting(long day), nothing personal. No need to shell out for the PS3 version when you already getting the 360 version. You could beat up on Gernburgs all day on the 360, a luxury I don't have, lol.

    IGN's (pathetic) review is up

IGN just put their review of T6BR up. Sadly they seem to know almost nothing about Tekken whatsoever. The writeup on the game's system and mechanics is shallow. They barely explore the offline or online modes. No mention of how good the netcode is. And they are unfamiliar with the story. So basically someone who knew nothing of Tekken wrote the review. As opposed to the blowhard who wrote the review for BlazBlue who was a rabid Guilty Gear and anime fan. IGN is a joke as usual.

So in IGN's entire review of T6BR there isn't a single mention of the rage system implemented in the game.

IGN must not proofread anything they put out online. Either that or Tekken 6BR is a male.

    7.0 - Presentation
The story really doesn't make any sense at this point. Load time are tolerable, but could have been a lot better.

    7.5 - Graphics
In-game character models are quite nice, but certain environments (like the water-filled Mystical Forest) fail to impress.

    7.5 - Sound
Decent tunes mix with an odd combination of numerous languages. Characters speak in English, Japanese and Chinese. How do they understand each other?!

    8.5 - Gameplay
Approachable, but still a very deep game with a steep learning curve for those interested in mastering a character or two. Campaign Scenario is a fine distraction, but could have been better.

    9.0 - Lasting Appeal
Learning every character could take ages. And it would take just as long to unlock all the costumes in this game.

    8.8
    Great OVERALL
    (out of 10 / not an average)</div></div></div>
IGN really hitting Tekken hard in presentation, sound, and graphics. Look at the comparison between those categories between T6BR and SFIV and then BlazBlue.
    <div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Spoiler Warning (IGN on Street Fighter IV) <input type="button" class="form-button" value="Show" onclick="toggle_spoiler(this, 'Hide', 'Show')" /></div><div class="ubbcode-body"><div style="display: none;">
    8.0 Presentation
Generally well-polished and clean, with PS3 and 360 versions performing almost identically. Anime cutscenes, however, are a joke and should have been replaced with in-engine storytelling.
    9.0 Graphics
This is a sharp, elegant and sublimely well-animated affair. I'm still amazed at how fireballs look in this game.
    8.5 Sound
Plenty of slick tunes to complement the fighting, with a sweet J-pop song serving as the main theme. IGN predicts sweaty techno raves wherever the game is played.
    9.0 Gameplay
Street Fighter IV is a brilliant step for the franchise as it -- in most cases -- returns to the roots of the series. As with many fighting games, gameplay gets deeper with practice.
    9.5 Lasting Appeal
A veritable horde of unlockables keeps single-player sessions constantly rewarding. Playing against like-minded Street Fighter junkies will keep the game relevant for years.
    9.3
    Outstanding OVERALL
    (out of 10 / not an average)</div></div></div>
    <div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Spoiler Warning (IGN on BlazBlue) <input type="button" class="form-button" value="Show" onclick="toggle_spoiler(this, 'Hide', 'Show')" /></div><div class="ubbcode-body"><div style="display: none;">
    9.5 - Presentation
A game with a virtually unparalleled level of polish and attention to detail. Fantastic characters inhabit an awesome story of power, sacrifice, (cat girls,) and disaster.

    9.0 - Graphics
Incredible character sprites battle on top of some very eye-catching backgrounds.

    9.0 - Sound
Sweet tunes and dual-language voice over make this a real treat to listen to.

    9.0 - Gameplay
Fast, fun and pristine. An evolution of the Guilty Gear legacy. Drive attacks give each character a unique and exciting flair in the ring.

    9.0 - Lasting Appeal
Tons of content to unlock, online multiplayer support, branching story paths and more make this an easy buy. You will be happy for a long time.

    9.4
    Outstanding OVERALL
(out of 10 / not an average) See All Award Recipients</div></div></div>

Re: IGN's (pathetic) review is up

The reviewer said that Campaign Scenario was the best way to earn money and items, but didn't go into detail. He seems to have factored this in with the score even though these modes really mean nothing to people like us. Tekken Force and modes like that are distractions that you can just ignore, and he even called it a distraction. Since Tekken 3 I believe (I didn't play TTT), you didn't have to play these modes for all the items and characters. I wouldn't think that you would have to now since there are no console exclusive characters, and getting money and items should be identical to how it's done in the arcade version.

Anyway, the review may have been higher if he was just talking about the VS and Ghost modes. It's kind of foolish to review Tekken games with the extra crap considered, though maybe he has to since mostly casuals will pick it up.

IGN's reviewer (Ryan), has never played Tekken before. T6 is his first Tekken (he stated it publicly). So the story not making any sense isn't really a surprise.

Kind of a significant little detail not covered in that review. -_-'
