The Netcode is solid vs North East Coast and Mid-West, No lag whatsoever. But against the West Coast, is pretty bad. You get 1-2 frames of input lag. And is crazy because the game is running smooth. Against the South, is pretty random, but still playable. Overall, the Netcode is better than DOA and SCIV. But no were near VF5 quality or even the almighty BB level. And I mean that as a overall experience. But, when you get those 4 or 5 bars, the netcode is up to BB level. I think Namco is doing something, they took down the online, and brought it back a few hours later(This happen late last night)I think someone pull the switch to early.

    That sounds playable. Thanks ShinobiFist!

As long as I can find some decent player matches, that's good enough. There's definitely some people out there ranting about how bad it is but maybe they just jumped the gun.

Remember, this are against people from my friendslist. And when I jump at Rank matches, I only had ONE match that didn't lag out of ten. Namco still hasn't gotten their Netcode up to snuff this gen.

Desperately need a guide to understand Tekken lingo. Reading stuff in forums is like reading the Arabic language. Sheeesh wish they would clean it up and give it some uniform Ala VF with some [1] [2] [3] [4] [6] [7] [8] [9] Left-[P] Right-[P] Left-[K] Right-[K]

Any way if anyone has combo guides for the following characters I would greatly appreciate it if they share them. I'd ask on Tekken forum, but VFDC is my trusted home. Thanks!

The word is that the 360 online is up and running and that it's not that bad...

Rod, are you liking the game?

I preordered T6. It might be refreshing to play Tekken because Tekken knows it's dumb (kangaroos and Pandas and stuff) whereas VF has the far superior system, but with frustratingly stupid stuff thrown in like DMPK, TFT, Shun...

Just to play a silly game and feel detached from caring one way or the other about the outcome might be fun.

So far yes, but it's still to early for me to give a final call. I know nothing about Tekken and haven't really played a Tekken game since T3.

I really like the speed of the game though. When I was watching Denkai and Shag play on Saturday I was really blown away by that. Later when we went back to VF we were all kind of amazed at how slow VF5 is.

I haven't played anyone yet. I didn't see the point since I didn't know any moves, so I just watched other people play. Last night I did some training in practice mode and so far I am really liking this game with the little amount of time I have put into it.

I probably won't play anyone for about 1 week or so I bet, maybe longer until I can pull off my combos / movement at 80% capacity. Buffering in Tekken seems none existent or just different all together so it will take a while for me to train my brain to WAIT until moves are fully executed before going to the next one.

Even now I am getting anxious about the game and really wish I could leave work early to do more training. My PSP will finally be getting some burn again soon when the game drops for it next month. While I suck with pads, I'll be using the PSP version to train with memorizing moves, combos and just overall understanding the system of the game while traveling on the subway or my lunch break etc. If I can hold my own after I get things down I guess this will be filling the void for me until the next VF installment on home console.

While this version of Tekken seems good... VF will always be my first love.

The Net code, is bad on the 360 also. Yang Sze and Denkai had input lag, and they both live in the same city, lol.

Are you guys trying to say TK6 is NOT good for online battles? No matter which version? That's still frustrating even I'm not that into TK6..... Please more comments when you guys have chances.

Btw, which character should I pick to be an asshole? That's my priority for this game not for fun~ [IMG]

Beware though, Tekken players can be as serious and egotistical as SF players so even though you won't be playing seriously they put their hearts and souls into some of these matches. If you thought the hate mail was bad when you played VF, get ready, cuz it gets worst.

Dennis, if you want to really piss people off, pick Lily [IMG]

@Jide, Bruce? Really? How are Bruce players assholes? The guy is one of the most bare bones characters that Tekken has.

Shouldn't you people be upset about Namco stealing all of Sega's innovations for VF5?: Garbage netcode and garbage practice mode. I smell a lawsuit from Sega.

Maybe three games ago. Now he's a beast.

When he meant ass hole I thought he meant annoying really strong characters. I suppose if you want a shun like character eddy or lei. Add Alisa to the annoying list as well

Well from what I'm hearing the netcode on T6 is ranging from "Ok" to "Horrible" depending on the match. If that is true then that would mean the 2 year old game that wasn't originally intended to have had online in the first place is the only 3D fighter with a decent net code.

Really??? Please, somebody, anybody tell me why Bruce is a beast now. Is it bc of M.T.S.? I still haven't received my copy and I'm not really in the loop about T6's tier list. Bruce is my favorite Tekken character and even in T5DR I didn't get a feeling that he was top tier. I had a better win ratio with Eddy and Raven [IMG]
