Should we move to Tekken?

Bruce wasn't top tier at all in T5:DR, but now they've boosted him a lot. Bruce does a ton of damage now and has INSANE wall carry (he can practically carry you corner to corner). He has also been given more solid mixups and a VERY strong punishment game. Just go on Youtube and watch Rain play Bruce.

    Thanks for the list.
I'm compeletely a rookie and trying to find the short cut on TK6, so I think picking someone on top is much easier for me.

The netcode in VF5 is FAR better so far. Anyone tell you other wise don't know anything

Dunno what Jeneric is on about, but the vf5 netcode is still top 3 and very good in most peoples books.

I think the prime issue for you Jeneric is that a majority of the players you played aren't from your country.

I can guarantee you US to US was very playable and coast to coast almost rivaled offline play.

Tekken netcode is very poor. It cannot be compared to vf at all.

Just played a 2 bar game on PS3. Simply awful. Easily about a second input delay. Just as someone has mentioned you can notice it on character select.

I should get some games with ShinobiFist, hopefully we will have 4 bars and so how it goes.

I wasn't a big fan of VF online to begin with. This makes me really appreciate it now.

Since Comcast hates New Jersey, I'm sure to have an extra shitty connection. [IMG]

Painful to hear these things... I hoped for the exact opposite [IMG]

I'm seriously hoping they pull a Blazblue and drop another patch on release day and this will all just be a bad dream [IMG]

Hey, it's not our fault that other games suck.

Denkai and I tried it together already and it's basically unplayable online.

I played a friend who lives an hour away and we get about 2-3 frames of lag which was awesome btw.

Denkai is about 5 hours away and we get anywhere from 4-6 frames of lag. Anyone from westcoast I get anywhere from 6-8 frames of lag.

Don't believe me? Go try it. I love the game, but online netcode is a travesty. It's bad, no way to sugarcoat it.

Despite them being top tier, I dunno if that's necessarily the easier route for you to take when learning the game. Both Bryan and Law for example, have some pretty technical stuff which is necessary to get their potential. Not trying to detour you from playing who you want to, but tiering in this doesn't necessarily mean ease of use.

Tekken Zaibatsu has a legend right at the top of the page. Click on it and all of the notations will be explained.

The Amazon offer doesn't include the Tekken calendar like the Gamestop offer does, in case anyone cares. And don't bother with shipping prices for faster delivery on Amazon. It's pointless. The free shipping is very fast.

    Gamestop offers:

    PS3 Bundle

    Xbox 360 Bundle

Someone tell me how Drag is in the game?

Can he track to his left? Is he still mid-tier?

Aris won the tournament with him if that means anything.
