haizzzzz. i didn't bothered to phone u cos i everytime phone u never answer one.

 

I so busy with work. I think i decided to quit playing vf. Really no time.

 

Weekends for me definitely cannot one, family man lah. Weekdays busy with work schedule, maybe only one or two evenings weekly and only for a miserable half hour, one hour top. Unlike VF3 days where I played 3-4 evenings weekly at AMK funland.
Anyway, after last friday's match with Scolaire, my pai now left half-life leow, still recuperating in ICU.

 

On Christmas Day, Yishun arcade open or not?

Like, I was telling shundi_05, most of the guys are bz with gf. Soon, everyone will get married and cannot come out.

Within a few yrs, playing VF will be more like a social outting kind of event.

 

Rulakir : been busy in the soul cal forums. didnt really checked in here. and you dont return the VIP card! it has your name on it !!! you get a free $10 value on your birthday too. and you get all the games you play there are cheaper compared to the normal card.

EDIT: prolly your talking about the normal tapz card. yea, just slot it into the "donation box" at the counter once you used it up. pretty much useless after that anyway

 

Yeah, I agree on that. If you are married or have g/f, maybe still can squeeze some time here and there..Wait till you have kids, ha!
That's why must get PS2. BTW, anyone has advice on getting a modified version of PS2 (to play both asian and US games)? Or Still better to stick with either a US or asian version? Used to hear many complaints about bugs and problems with the modified one. Are they more stable now with the later chips?

The present chips are better. U should get Messiah. One of the (or only) best chip around.

Seems that only the few guys in our league are still bachelors. Sorry, no spinsters. haha.

Just have a look at the guys who go down to yishun really often. If u r a bachelor, chances r u will go to the arcade, pub or some place.

I dread singlehood. But, I also hate getting attached and tied down. I just can't have the best of both worlds, can I? I can't. Yes, I can't.

Anyway, there r a few simple ways to remain a bachelor. 1st, appear to the gals as a very eccentric freak. 2nd, be like mama's boy. 3rd, look really guai.(bet the gals will start running for their lives). 4th, speak in profound English/Chinese/or whatever language(Sure scare off all the pretty damsels)

5th, don't get a job. Always appear to the gals, as a frequent job hopper. (u know those gals won't like guys who job hop too often.) haha.

That's my answer to remaining a bachelor. Serious, gals will scream and run away from u. /versus/images/icons/tongue.gif

Is yishun open on 25-12-2002? Hope to go down.

I'm thinking about this. If anyone wants to go down, lets just standardise the timing to 4-8pm? I think it will be easier for pple to see each other. Otherwise, its so darn difficult to see anyone around. Objections?

1p's punch faulty, 2p's guard faulty.

 

I went down yesterday(fri), the 2p is really terrible.

G button is too inconsistent. Sometimes, Akira's K+G can turn out to be knee kick. funny.....

2 months more to PS2 evo! /versus/images/icons/smile.gif Till then, still must put up with faulty controllers. Sigh.....

 

Thinking of going down to Jurong Point for a brief play before going shopping... Gotta get rid of this weird urge to spend my savings all of a sudden.... /versus/images/icons/frown.gif
