Ima get this game when it drops down to £25 max.

Oh, and the high ollie glitch is still there, from what I've played in the demo.

There's another glitch where you can rocket bail by getting off and on your board again. During the mount if you dblgrab and bail, you'll fly.

Any idea when EA might be releasing a patch for this game? At the moment im experiencing epic slowdown and even complete pauses in the framerate.

Ive heard the ps3 version is real bad for this, but sadly im on the 360 version and it really dampens the experience when its this choppy. I thought maybe it was the disk but after renting another copy it runs exactly the same.

The strange thing is im 100% sure it wasnt running like this the first couple days I played it. There is a possibility that my Xbox is to blame but it runs every other graphics intensive game I had just fine so I dunno.

SKATE and SKATE 2 are both quite awesome. As for a patch for SKATE 2 I'd wager we still have a bit before they fix the HOM Exploits and various glitches/bugs/exploits present in the game.

    Re: Third Base (Skate 3)

    Regarding Skate 3:

We get a totally new skate world called Port Carverton, where skaters are treated like royalty (?) [IMG]

Hardcore mode is totally dope and makes landing the simpler things even more satisfying. There isn't any auto-lock onto rails so you gotta pop on them right or you WILL miss.

The new techniques are the drop in, which is just mounting your board over a cope, underflips which are executed by re-flicking the stick in the opposite direction from where you pop your flip. Also there's darkslides which are done by performing a flip and holding a right bumper half-way to lock your board trucks-up. You can enter and exit multiple ways.

Other than that, there's create-a-park, and multiplayer is supposedly insanely great.

Im gonna love this one but I wonder if people will stick to hardcore mode or not. I thought alot of us got to the point where we broke the earlier skate games by exploiting the system and some of the glitches. Hardcore mode is actually HARD. I'm still struggling playing the demo lol.

I originally wasn't gonna even play the demo but Feaucha convinced me to.
