^He can still wreck shop but has to come to you more now. Both his c. fierce and jumping fierce got toned down a lot. Also no fireball into ultra anymore.

 

Ok I need help. I need a character that's still competitive but doesn't require a lot of dexterity or button memorization.

I played Tager in Blazblue, if that's any indication.

 

If you want a grappler, I hear T. Hawk is good... He even looks similar to Tager, heh.

Failing that you could just try Ryu, as long as you stick to the basics, below a certain level that mofo pretty much plays by himself .

 

Zangief filled that role in SF4..

I just got my copy and the initial signs of it look very good. I am not very good at the game but on dead nights when VF matches are hard to come by I will plug SF and practice it. I like how my main Chun was improved and I love her new ultra and how useful it is anywhere on the screen not just in the corner. I am also working on Ibuki, Juri, Dudley and a few others potential sub characters as well. Once I have full day off work I will try the online play with Chun Li. How good is the online play the game compared to the normal version of SF4 any way

 

Since nobody mentioned something about alt costumes for the new characters I guess it's gonna be the same DLC procedure like in Street Fighter 4?

 

I played with a bunch of vfdc peeps today in an 8 man lobby. It was just like I hoped. Like Rodney said, it's as if capcom listened to all of the fans' requests and delivered. This game is sweet! Deejay's EX upkick is awesome!

I got stuck on Abel's 24th combo trial last night for a long time, I still didn't quite get the last two hits. I have to beat that last trial before I can relax.

I absolutely LOVE how quick it allows you to rematch your buddy in online Endless Battle (this is basically player match, no?). I always felt like VF5 had the best player match only because you can rematch instantly.

Capcom seriously addressed the loading time between matches in SSFIV so there's a VERY short loading time between the end of a match, the lobby and then the character select. It's way less frustrating to wait between matches cause it feels like you're picking your character for the next match right away. Lets you get more games during the same amount of time as the last game cause the faster load times make a HUGE difference...

 

Wow Gernburgs, how did you even get past Abel's 21st combo trial? It seems fucking impossible! The buffer time for the standing strong punch super cancel seems like it's a thing of luck rather than skill.

 

Lol Rodney, I used to have the same problems going from VF to ST and SF4. Some windows are just stupid small in 2D games. Just do the st.mp xx super the fastest way possible.

 

I'm having trouble with cody trials also,i think it's 19 where you have to throw the rock for super and i'm like how the hell do people do this! and also want to thank ogi for a good match

 

Isn't Abel 24 just his Hard 5 from vanilla SF4? I remember that that, Viper 5 and Fuerte 5 were the hardest ones in the game.

 

I only managed to do Abels last trial recently, the MK dash link is very tight. Man Fuerte's 5th hard trial is easy I can bust out like 7 of those heheh but took me months to learn lol
I'm going to an all nighter event tomorrow evening, going to get beaten up whilst I learn Hakan, should be fun.

 

Done! the Final one took a lil while though because his cancel timing is wierd.
