1. Hey Guest, looking for Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown content? Rest assured that the game is identical to Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown so all current resources on here such as Command Lists with frame data, Combo Lists and the Wiki still apply. However, you can expect some VF5US specific changes to come soon!

IK+ on the Commodore Amiga - a 3-way karate-themed fighting game (Player 1 vs Player 2 vs Player 3). Good luck playing a fighting game nowadays with a single-button Atari-compatible joystick.

I'm having fun playing Sega Marine Fishing, and Sega Bass Fishing. But Marine Fishing is super fun. Sega really knows how to make fishing cool.:D

    The Terminator (Sega Mega-CD)
I consider it to be the definitive version of a platform game that has spanned multiple console generations (so much so, I wrote a review of it).

Virtua Fighter Animation (Sega Game Gear)
Based on the cult anime series, it's a decent fighting game, even if there is no extra content beyond a barebones versus mode.

Enduro Racer (Sega Master System/Mark 3)
Quite possibly my favourite 8-bit Sega game of all time. It takes what made the original arcade version fun and throws in some unique mechanics into the mix (Japanese version is bigger than the Western one, which is missing half the content).

    Half-Life 2: Episode 2 (PC, Windows)
It's more than 15 years old, I think it can be classified as retro. Definitely more enjoyable than Episode 1 and certainly more fun to play than the base HL2 game, which just went on and on (I hate the driving stages in particular as well as babysitting allies with zero AI).

    Wings of Death (Commodore Amiga)
A tough but fun to play shmup with some unique gameplay elements and a cool soundtrack.

    Biggles (Commodore 64)
A multigenre game based on a cult 1986 film starring a popular fictional pilot. It's not great.

    Turbo Chopper Simulator (Amstrad CPC)
A blend of action and puzzle gaming, each level takes place on a single screen.

    Zythum (ZX Spectrum)
A unique platformer which strikes the right balance of fun and frustration, and it'll keep you coming back for more, regardless of whether or not you can complete it.

    Time Crisis (PlayStation 1)
Oh. My. God. What a classic. When I first got this game for my PS1 as a youth, I played it so much, I could beat it in a single credit without taking a hit (most of the time). The extra console-exclusive mission is also a nice treat.

    Resident Evil: Code Veronica.

Ignore what Maximillian Dood, Matt Simmons and others, say about this game, it's actually really good. I'm still on disc 1, and so far, it has been a heck alot of fun, with lots of surprises, excluding certain weird things in the story, eg. Alfred Ashford. Lol!:holla:

I'm having a bit more fun with this game, in comparison to RE4. I've reached the part, where you have to collect the King and Queen jewels.:p

Virtua Fighter 5, in the latest remaster patch "VF5US - Ultimate Showdown".

It's really awesome, probably in my top 2 of old school games!

It's a shame we haven't gotten a modern new title in the series!

Android 1: The Reactor Run (ZX Spectrum)
The very first videogame I ever played as a child. It's a Berzerk clone, and a VERY frustrating one (4-way movement only - no diagonals, only 5 hits and you're dead although you have shields to help you out but they temporarily immobilise you when used, and extremely erratic enemy movements).

    Time Crisis 2 (PlayStation 2)
Holy smeg, what an improvement over the first game. 2-player cooperative play, incoming damage indicators, a more lenient time limit and continue system... it's just a shame 2-player mode on consoles is a pain in both nuts (split-screen makes each side of a single TV ridiculously small like it was designed by someone with myopia, while linking up 2 TVs and 2 PS2s together, each with a copy of the game and G-con 2 light gun is unfeasible).

Okay, I got the king and queen jewels. Now I have to collect the hidden items and ammo, scattered all over the place, and then use the jewels to see the rest of the game.:)

    Cyclone (ZX Spectrum)
A fun little search-and-rescue helicopter game where you also have to contend with the titular cyclone (hurricane) threatening to undo your hard work.

    Time Crisis 3 (PlayStation 2)
The peak of the series. Oh, smeg, yes. :)
