Oooooh, February 2. Time to check the subway routes...

BTW, there's plenty of rumors floating around here in JP regarding a new AM2 fighting game... but nothing related to VF5. Don't get your hopes up to see it right away, folks.

I vaguely remember Yu Suzuki mentioning something in an interview about a new weapons based fighter. Hopefully this is their big announcement.

Yeah part the rumor is that AM2 is going to bring back maybe one of their older franchises. Possibly Last Bronx 2, maybe a new fighter, maybe even a new outrun. We'll soon find out... /versus/images/icons/laugh.gif

Out Run has been confirmed long ago. It's running on Chihiro (Xbox board).
Last Bronx is not a AM2 franchise. I'm not sure, but I actually think it was an AM3 game. They got disbanded/renamed thoughj, a lot of them are at United Game Artists now (Mizuguchi Tesuya) and Hitmaker I think.

Well.. on the topic of VF5.. Yu Suzuki is currently visiting Korea. Possibly to help out promoting the debut of VF.net there.. But sources close to him is saying that he is interested in Taekwondo... sounds like research for VF5 to me.. /versus/images/icons/laugh.gif

Is the concept of a new Daytona game any good ?

Daytona is in Nagoshi's (Amusement Vision's) hands. As is Scud Race/Super GT.

Waiting with anticipation for F-Zero AC...

The last rumor that I remember was that his work with VF Quest was near completion (just doing verbal communications now) and he had been given full release to work on his weapon-based fighter which is in supposed early-development(Initial Concept/Art/Story/Focus) now and will be using some type of X-Box technology. From a few people I know that live for game rumors >_< it is supposed to be his answer to SC2 with more of a realistic approach(Kengo/Bushido Blade?). Latest guesstimates is that a Winter 04/05 arcade release is expected. It is even being told that he has been seen lunching with and talking to Itagaki (DOA Series) lately. He has always wanted his games to have mass appeal and be easily picked up, but hard to master. If these two get together I can only fear for the worse. Big Swords and Boobs for everyone! /versus/images/icons/frown.gif
