Can we get a count of how many xboxs there are currently? I will bring one if it makes the difference between full setups vs an unused display. . .

001 (or anyone else worried about motel 6) I can split costs for a room if need be.

360s, games, and sticks need to be brought to the event. Show your appreciation for Plague organizing this and bring your setup.

    Right now the confirmation is
2 systems...Yes 2..Two systems for 30 people is not so good.

i'll bring a 360 w/game and 2 sticks but my stuff leaves with me when we retire to the motel (which shouldn't be a big deal since we will be at plagues all day). my 360 only has the component/rca cables and no hdmi port.

KoD, i think our room is gonna be full since we already have 4 people and only 2 beds. if anything changes i'll let you know.

I'm bringing one EX2 stick (Chance of just bringing two but for sure one), Memory card, Game (If for some reason there is a console without it.)

    WHAAAT?! WHY?

You CAN make it! It hasn't happened yet! The only way you can't make it is if the date has gone by!

Count me in for confirmed. I wasn't sure at first since I had to make sure I had the days available.

I know for sure I can bring my 360, VSHG, EX2. Not so sure about my tv though. I can bring it, but honestly I'm a little worried something is gonna happen to it. It's 32in lcd with hdmi for the 360. If I don't bring it I can get the composite cables that came with the 360 for the other tv's there.

Also, I'm interested in splitting the costs for a room with those who said have booked a room already. If you got space let me know the details. I'll be bringing my car so transportation wouldn't be a problem.

Things are looking much better for set-ups. Don't let that stop anyone from bringing more.

xPINETREEx - no real need to haul a display - we have six (5 are portable). Displays include a 32" SDTV (not portable /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif ), 4 Dell 20" widescreen monitors with sound, and one 36" (?) Samsung LCD TV. You can still bring it if you want, and your system, sticks, and game disc are far more important.

Everyone: Take a cue from s_aki and others who are pooling resources for vehicles (minivans are a GREAT idea) and rooms at the Motel6. The vehicles are more important to the event on a whole. The hotel rooms are if you want GUARANTEED soft places to sleep and privacy. I still let everyone stay at my house who wishes to do so. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cool.gif

Yo Jay man, the 4 person room sounds good. Cheapest I can sleep and get outta there the better. =P

I'll probably just bum it the last night or something at Plague's (hopefully most people will be gone?) Sunday night. Hmm, I do need a good sleep though, since next day I wake up and fly straight into work for the afternoon. Hmmm... I'll try to figure it out when I get there I guess.

Sounds good Plague, I'll make sure to bring my 360, sticks, and game then.

    Driving directions from San Diego:

15 North, pass the 91, take the 60 East
    Exit Pedley
    Right turn on Pedley
Left turn on Mission (first traffic light)
Right turn on Agate (first right, no stop sign)
Left turn on Wild Pony Drive (first left)

I'll be taking this route, and I know you can either continue on the 15 north and take your directions posted or you can take the 215. Looking at Google maps and it looks like the same distance either way you take. Which freeway do you recommend? That way I know which route is better/less traffic and such, thanks.

It seems one room is already full, but wondering about someone else doing something similar in sharing/splitting costs of a room? Tonyfamilia you expressed interest about the same thing, if no one else posts about having a room already you wanna share one? Let me know.

I recommend using the 15 North rather than the 215. The 215 freeway is under construction and can get confusing in the sections close to the 215/60/91 interchange.

Let me know when you plan to arrive and thanks for bringing the setup. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cool.gif
