There's a VF tourney, with this many cool people, at a freaking BBQ restaurant??

THIS IS BEYOND AWESOME! lol. But ehy, on the real guys. Wash your hands before using sticks lol. BBQ + sticks = no bueno.

I'm excited about the Team Battle!!!!!

 

Oh snap, playa manned up! Good stuff. I'm still debating if I want to sleep on the floor somewhere at Plague's house or dish out for a hotel. Only thing is, with the hotel being 2 miles away, I want to be sure of consistent transport to and fro even if it is in the wee hrs of the morning.

 

Based on experience, sleep and SoCal gatherings don't mix like oil and water. Just sayin /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

 

I'm up for it, plague. Just have a question. Will there be a place for me to stay are your house? Just need to know, in case I have to bring money to get a hotel or not.

 

I would definitely attend if I could, but I'll be needed at work...

That said, I am excited that there will be good attendance. Personally, I would have liked to have seen this event advertised on the front page of VFDC /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

i'm gonna book a room today so if you guys want to split let me know.

there are only 2 beds though.

also if you want to book your own room i'm sure it would be cool to get a ride back and forth if its just the 4 of us (me, scamp, haunts, dubc) but i gotta ask scamp first.

difference in cost is 179 for 4 of us in one room or 161 for 2 people in each room at that price.

i'm down for whatever, just let me know.

I'm down for the 4-some. That is mad cheap. How long are you guys going to be staying? I am arriving Thursday night and leaving Monday morning. If that was 179 total (per night?) for a 4 person room, that to me is much better. At least I am guaranteed a spot to rest my head with some quiet (don't know how much I'll need it, but it's nice to have a place to crash).

Actually Jay, can you give the breakdown? How much per night, and how much per person (or can you specify a lump sum how much per person for how many days of booking)? Thanks.

Hello! Good to hear from you again. And, in answer to your question, yes! Tonight and Saturday night are good nights for VF.

 

the prices i quoted were for 3 night totals so its like $55 or $60 per night per room plus tax. haha it's motel 6 dude not embassy suites. just check the rates in link on the first page. i still haven't booked a room yet so let me know. if we split it will be like $50 each for 4 people for 3 nights.

me and scamp will be there thursday to sunday. i think haunts is coming in friday and leaving sunday early.

so yeah, sooner i know the better. i don't think they'll be running out of rooms but better to get it over with.

 

Dont forget to bring systems (w/ HDMI, VGA, or Compnent Cables) sticks, games, and memory cards if you can.
