I'm having a mini-gathering at my house on Saturday -- Sebo is down in San Diego for the week, and he's coming over along with sol fizz and kite mode. We will be up soon though, I promise. Really excited about playing some different peeps! Have fun fellas.

This Saturday is no good for Catherine and I. My sister (my youngest sister, for that matter) is having a huge 30th birthday party and we're going to that.

Everyone else should go to Brian's place, though. It's awesome for get-togethers. And, video-taped matches fucking rock.

I will be at plagues house tonight, I hope every socal player shows up either here or at LA Akira's house (which ever one is more convient for you) for some play time and hopefully enough will show for a DOUBLE tournament lmao.

The tournament starts at 9:00 and it will be over in a few minutes (random seeding, single elimination). I'm sure we'll play afterwards till 11:00 or midnight (that's how it usually works). Last week, a new player arrived at 10:30 pm - I had no issues with that. Anyway, hope to see you.

Good games tonight. I feel that I might be starting to plateau. I will have to spend some time studying before next week. I will not make this Saturday, as I will be at Disneyland with my kids.

Hmmm well HowBoutSum suprised me pretty good, and I failed to punish like 5 sweeps lmao. Oh wells I guess I'll just learn from the replay.

Good games with everyone, I think I need to go back and practice my reactions and timings, I was missing alot things.


Oh and the 60 freeway was closed down to one lane when I was coming back plague. Me = not a happy camper.

SoCal players: Guys got to show up at Brians, there is very little time left to really get practice in for this game. I already bought my badge (San Diego Comic Con) for EVO WEST, I suggest you guys do as well. Start planning right now so you don't have a panic when it comes around.

Very true. These TNTs could turn out extremely useful in calming tournament nerves. You'll see when I post the matches that I had Brian 2-0 and, in following rounds, had the opportunity for the win and didn't do anything. There's one place where I caused wall stagger with single palm, one more hit and he would've been dead. Instead of an attack, I did... throw?!?!? What the hell?!

The more we practice in pressure situations, the better things will go in the long run. Rememeber how collected Denkai84 was in Buy.com - it certainly worked for him. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cool.gif

I have sent an email to Markman, since he seems rather nice to us VF dudes and even plays the game, regarding weither or not we can possible have VF5 in there as well weither it be side tournament or full or whatever.

Honestly, I know it sounds like Satan talking, but I think we should forge more ties with the Tekken community as they are the dominant 3D fighting community in the Western world. And Markman seems like an awesome guy so maybe he can work something out.
