Hey - here's an idea. Let's cancel VF at my place this Thursday and carpool to L_A_Akira's place. This message is meant especially for Unsafe_Dan and Matt_K. Please post to let me know if you both are up for it. I ask that you both be at my house by 7:00 pm so we can get on the road. I'll want to start heading back to Riverside by midnight.

Round-trip is about 150 miles. In my WRX, that costs around $21.00. We will split gasoline costs 3 ways. If only one of you goes for this, we'll split gas costs in half.

I'll bring a set-up if necessary.

Also, due to the nature of his contract with CGS, I am not sure if he will be able to make it to EVO west. However if he can I am sure he will do what he can to come (or I'll drag him to evo west /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif ).

 

Well, I'm not sure what city you're in (edit - I just learned it was Cerritos). The route from my place is 60W, 15N, 210W, 134W, 101N, Exit Sepulveda. So, if you want to leave your car someplace like AI (Fullerton exit off the 60) or in the area near Fry's at Crossroads off the 60, we could pick you up and just catch the 605N to the 210W. Let me know.

Someone just thought you'd told them you lived in Cerritos. Anyway, my previous post still applies. Downey is a lot closer than Cerritos to the 605/60 interchange. The lot at AI (Diamond Plaza) is active till around 2am on the West end of the Plaza, so parking a car there works well. It would be easy for us to meet you there.

 

I am going to try and make the Saturday game. I will not be going to the Thursday one.
