Brisal- Thanks for hosting again as it was another kick ass experience. Only played against you for two rounds before you had to to switch off to that guy whose name I don't remember ("Jacky's /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/db.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif" is a good name).

Plague- (your) Akira is still a tough match up, but at least the matches are hella (NorCal, wooooo!) fun.

Catherine- No Pai on Vanessa stuff .

L_A_Akira- What you taught me is invaluable... but I still can't beat you (lol?). And yes, I know reversals aren't worth the risk, but as a former Aoi masher, landing one causes an effect similar to Zoloft: Happy-Time!1!

Jeremy- I don't get a chance to play Brad often (Ken_I was the first) so I enjoyed the 22 matches we had. Brad still scares me though. (aside- anyone have an anti-Brad strat)

Sweep!- Playing your Eileen is as frustrating as it is fun. Thanl you for teaching me how to beat string-hit/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/d.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/db.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/b.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif (lol). I will find a way to crush every low attack with /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/db.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif!

Ay- I swear you're getting better each time we play. Solid matches. I shudder to think of the potential brewing... and when the 360 version comes out: AAAAH.

Unsafe_Dan- Only played against your Jacky, but those are always fun matches. I think it prepped me for Phoenix's Jacky (though I had to choke at the worst time ever).

Phoenix- Only played 4 games this time, and it went 2-2, but FUCK!!! FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK. But after thinking about it, I did the best against you damage-wise in the tourney (lol?). Thank you for the learning experience (again).

GoatCheeseBlues- Damn it! Missed another chance to play you again. If Brisal/Plague host something on the August 3-4 weekend: please come!!! Jeffry's /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/db.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif FTW?!

Another superb showing by the So Cal community. I had a great time and appreciate all the tips that the veteran playes handed down. Looking forward to more high flying action in the future.

Feel the Eileen love! Just evade after I 6P+K and my lil' kick will whiff and you can punish all day.

ALLWORLD, your knowledge of the VF system is strong. You surprised me when you said "take it easy" on our first game and then proceeded to display the skills you had. It was cool. Awesome-looking Sarah, by-the-way (even if Jeremy, who openly derides my Costume D Akira /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif, can't handle looking at her eyepatch).

I'll have to see if anyone saved any replays on my PS3. If so - there will be vids!

Thanks for the fun times, guys! Lets do it again next weekend. I'll be heading down to SD with jeremy on thursday night so if possible, i'd like to get some games with you guys then.

 

I'm sure one of the SD crew can host a gathering -- hopefully sol fizz (paul), as he has the room to do it! If one of you guys can bring a monitor/set up, we should be able to have 3 running. I'll post more info after talking to paul about this...
