Yesterday was what offline VF is all about: getting together with awesome people to play a fantastic game. Many thanks to PineTree, PhantomFHarlock, HowBoutSum, Unsafe_Dan, Kiuju, signia, and CaliJared for a great afternoon of VF.

Ok ok ok so it's been awhile since I played this game anyway where in the hell in SoCal does everyone play at? I stay in the Antelope Valley area but I'm willing to travel as I go to plenty of SSF4 and SF4 related events and tournament (sorry if that game is taboo here) anyway I would love to get involved with this scene. thanks

Welcome to VFDC. Right now we're all playing at my house in Riverside. My wife and I both play. Every other Thursday we host a VF night from 7:30 to 11:00. We normally see one or two players come over. You are welcome to come here.

I don't play SSF4 because I don't want to take time to learn it. I only play VF. Some of the VFers that come here do play SSF$, Tekken6, DOA, SC4, etc..

It's a shame you aren't always free on the weekends Plague cause that Saturday meet was bomb.

My legs hurt from hiking on Sunday but, I got some bomb food in Redlands afterward.

Edit: I just saw the body check! That's the greatest thing I've ever seen! I might pick up Akira just for that.

I'm starting to think that Saturdays are better than Thursdays. You all up for that change? If the answer is yes, state your preference...

1) 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm
2) 7:30 pm to 11:00 pm

2pm to 7pm is probably best for me.

2pm to 7pm allows for more time. The alternative is driving 2 hours total for only 3.5 hours of gaming, rather than 5.

Yeah for sure, would work for when i'm down for the weekends. Wished I could've stayed longer but had family bbq to attend to.
