It's all about the Bonanza Bros. It's awesome that they are in this game, and they have the blimp. The only thing missing is a level themed on the Mint.

I assume there is no supporting links for the tier info shirt? Or does that list rely on All-star move strength too?


For anyone interested and doesn't already know, the the two lakes on track one are jumpable in laps 2 & 3, or if time trialing.

With Jacky & Akira you can jump with just a tripple boost; released just after the start line (on lap 2) and aim left of the centre sign to jump, and then use a delayed mid air trick.

Land on an slightly uneven patch on the left after lake one, so you get recatapulted for jumping lake two in the same way; glide left of the centre line (& use a delayed mid air trick); I can only do it about 1 in 10 at the moment.

My time with Akira & Jacky is quite rubbish (at 0:39:738) but this seems to be the prefered TT method for the fastest person using Sonic; who is a few seconds quicker than I am on PSN (not sure if Sonic's tripple boost needs the addition of the shoe boost for top speed jumping).

Mind showing a video of this? I wanna know which level is this and if I will get interferance from the Whale (fucking Shamu... he has hated me ever since he tried to eat me in Sonic Adventure ).

I'm still gonna play as the boys, but I suppose I had too much expectations from them and they didn't exceed them.

Hey it could be worse, It could have been Lion and Jean: Lion uses his annoying voice to bug players and Jean uses his brokeness to demolish them lol

No, I thought the "lol" meant made up, but wasn't sure if Sumo-Digital had released an official list.

In your Part2, at the track point (first show at 2:44) going left (of the arrow), rather than right is a designed shortcut; you can jump the water straight, followed by a tight left turn.

In the 360 demo, using 2player split screen, there is a nasty real-time shadow fail, on the overhanging cliff coming up(at point 5:04 shown in your part 1 video), does this happen in the released 360 version?

Here's my question:
Does anyone know if Sarah is in the game cause I heard Sega characters whom are not playable make cameo appearances such as Ristar?
I don't own the game and hope to get it soon for $28 with FREE shipping on Amazon.com

Also talk about whatever u guys want to discuss related to the game. I know Jacky is as cheesy as ever in this game.

I heard good things about this game, I plan on getting it for 360 since that seems to be the superior version what with the most characters and in HD, it got very good reviews, that I know for sure, does anyone have it and tell me what they think of it.

lol, i guess i'm really that predictable huh, like i said, i tried to make it into a discussion of different things related to the game, not just focused on that one question as I originally planned.

The game was slightly better on PS3 but not by a great deal; but only because it is based on Sony's cross-platform Phyre(Fire) Engine; and so naturally sumo-digital's lead development platform was on the PS3.

It certainly filled a gap in my gaming for a few months, and is a solid 7/10, maybe even an 8/10. But if you have both systems, or even all three, Modnation Racers is a much better game than anything else in its class imho. Including being better than all the Mario karts; and I don't say that lightly.

The driving dynamics of ModNation have a learning curve more like Virtua Fighter, and the creation tools alone make it a solid 10/10 for me (even with the loading times issue that they are hoping to patch quite soon).

but buying Sega all stars on either 360 or ps3 is still gonna provide some fun.
