Dude, we live in a day and age of global economy, where the ups and down of one part of the world have far-reaching effects across the globe. All I know is that I'm giving money to SOMEBODY who put a lot of effort into making something enjoyable. Whether they are American, Japanese, Korean, British, or Swahili shouldn't matter one bit.

By the way, if anyone ever wants to flame me publically again, do yourselves a favor and don't shoot yourselves in the foot shortly afterwards...

Sorry to nitpick, but failure to support your local economy doesn't equal failure to support the developers. The developers of virtua fighter are about 24 airplane hours away from your local economy. And what's up with claiming importing is on the same level as piracy?

How is anyone guilty of ANYTHING if the game isn't currently for sale in the US and they choose to import it? It's like finding fault with someone for importing a camel instead of buying it at the local camel farm. WHAT local camel farm?

Blame sony if 20 dollars goes to ncsx instead of sears and roebuck, not schade. We all know that if schade could go to the mall and pay 50 dollars for the game in english, he'd prefer that to paying 70 dollars to an importer and playing the game in japanese.
