Soundtrack for VF5/R/FS coming May 2011?

I wasn't really interested in this because I thought it was kind of expensive just for some music. Personally I'd rather have the game (VF5:R or FS)... but after listening to Sarah's R track for the past 2 days (even making it my ring tone), I've changed my mind.

I've only had the pleasure of listing to Sarah's track and while it's good, no very fucking good, I kind of wish they looped the core of the track twice instead of once before going into the break down that will eventually end the track. Sorry if I'm not making sense, but for those who have it or will be getting it soon you will understand what I mean.

It's just that some of the tunes are so nice and we finally get them in great quality without all the game sound effects and just as it starts to get good you get this break down of new sounds that you never heard either because it's completely new and added just for the sound track or because the game just kept looping the first half of each track. I don't know, but I wish each track looped twice before ending. The duration of Sarah's track is only 2 minutes and 6 seconds. The second loop would have probably put it at about 3 to 3.5 minutes which I think is the perfect length for any song because your ears gets fed enough good music giving your body and soul some time to savor the sounds.


Can I get this from Amazon? I'll check the first page I believe all the links were put there if I'm not mistaken.

i actually looped a bunch of the tracks a while back from the nicovideos so that it's extended roughly to the length of a 5 round battle. i even managed to remove all the mid duration "Round 2, Ready, Go" and hit sound effects.

once you get the cd you can pretty easily edit the tracks for personal use.

 

Thanks man! I'm gonna check out your channel and when I get my copy of the soundtrack I'll see about editing some of the tracks.

Is it hard to do? I've never looped music before and have no idea what software to use.

 

It can be quite difficult to do well, i've no idea what these songs are arranged like but when I get my copy i'll have a look if I can arrange them any better.

 

I think it's pretty easy to loop tracks. There's free software called Audacity that is pretty good for sound editing.

Basically all you do is copy/cut/paste properly and it will turn out good.

 

I agree on the double looping thing. It would have been nice to hear the main part of the song more than once similar to a match vid before hearing the instrumental bridge.

I may have a go at it this weekend.

 

No offense to anyone, but this might just be the most useless product ever sold. Could we maybe just get the game, instead of the music the game?

Are we supposed to pop in VF5, turn the music for FS up real loud and just pretend???

I for one will definitely be adding this to my collection. Saw this up weeks ago but couldn't tell if it was legit or not. I really don't think it should be uploaded to youtube at all. If you want to show SEGA how much we really want a FS console release then why not support the CD release by actually buying it! It's a heck of a lot better then nothing at all at the moment.

 

They'll probably have no way of knowing how many sales the CD's made from overseas fans

 

Done. That 6000 yen price was painful, but I know it will be worth it!
