Speculation and rumors about next VF-related game

Dunno, I found econ pretty easy.

I can understand why Sega's gunshy on VF5R. I think it would do better now, given the market changes, but corporations tend to be risk-averse creatures.

A VF crossover game would be better then nothing though, and I'd support such. I have $40 freed up after reading the SSF4 blog (no longer getting that, they pretty much told me right there the things I didn't like about SF4 would be emphasized and not fixed)

 

[Off Topic] You know what they should add in Virtua Fighter. Taunts. Taunts has a lot of mind games. =P

 

That sounded good in theory. Real world is different. You can never. Ever. Ever. Simulate offline game with online game.

I dont think this thread is going anywhere but down tbh. Whats there to say? Our 'insiders' can't or refuse to tell us anything about how Sega works. Or tell us news even if they could. The rest of us are left speculating why VF doesnt sell for the 1235th time. I personally think that average player in modern world is less interested about 'competitiveness' than they used to be. All of them wii fits and guitar heros and singstars and stuff. Well, just an idea.

It's ok, I was just trying to show how pointless most of the talk in this thread in my opinion.
Speculating what a new VF related title would be cool. We have no idea if there's one. Even if we knew that, we still wouldn't know WHAT title that might be.
Fishie said something and that's it. It's not like this stuff has any credibility.
MY idea of things to come is: Finish the petition. See if they as much as read it. Go back to playing VF5 and be happy about it

Tekken vs virtua fighter sounds stupid I hate to say it but it does. It would just upset fans of both series. I personally prefer tekken over all 3d fighters but I honestly think vf vs doa is a better idea. They should dumb down vf and slow down doa and and reduce counter damage.

Well for me that is simple. Tekken 6 br is game which really pisses me off cause i tried hard with Raven and learned all his moves , juggles but still he is too unsafe and can be easily beaten by almost all mid-high tier not talking of gods... The throw system is 1 of the most crucial moments... That is why i dont want such an unbalanced game like tekken to spoil Godlike VF!

@MystD, You sound like a Tekken fan after reading most of your post. Virtua Fighter will get a sequel. At least Sega doesn't shrew up like Namco.
