I'm more surprised Gen is apparently "The cheapest character in the game" than I am that he got angry over my taunting (though, to be fair, he fell for it EVERY time. I would knock him down when he had a full REVENGE meter, start a Focus Attack, then as soon as he wakes up, I dash backwards... and he wastes an ultra. Then taunt).

I've seen several of DSP's vids and in each one he just moans about how cheap or scrubby his opponents are, despite the fact that they just completely destroyed him, like you just did.

He needs to stop whinging.

 

yeah i taunt to get them mad or maybe to showoff just a lil i got the title "haste makes waste". some people try to drag out time and get that tech win.

It's pretty damn stupid to post a video of yourself getting your ass kicked by a player who is clearly MUCH better than you, all-the-while whining about online, as if it had anything to do with why you lost. The kid sounds like a Class-A scrub-tard!

That's like me getting triple-excellented by Denkai in VF5, then posting of video of the fight with me whining about how bad online is the entire time, as if that was why I lost.

He's going, "Holy shit! That Flame Kick went through my Hurricane Kick!" Flame Kick probably beats Hurricane Kick 99% of the time anyway, but it's especially BAD and scrubby cause he's whining after getting his low Roundhouse blocked and he's mad that his Hurricane Kick won't beat the Flame Kick at -16 frames. Sure, that's all online's fault! Errr, not exactly buddy.

You shouldn't be allowed to post vids if you suck that bad.

If you use Ryu and the only low poke you use is cr. roundhouse, that's -16 on block, you just suck really bad...

 

Gernburgs, DSP isn't a scrub at SF though man.

 

It's pretty hard to tell from his commentary... I don't think you even have to be a bad player to be scrub. It's more about trying to take as little accountability as possible for your losses.

A lot of pullers will still try to say things like, "I'm better than you. I have more Battle Points than you noob!!!"

WTF?!? Did you forget that you're a puller and that your entire rank/BP means NOTHING cause you cheated to get it???

 

I understand what you're saying, and you make some pretty good points all around. Yeah you can't even tell, unless you know who DSP is, from srk, tourneys or otherwise. Cause he be making himself look pretty poor in his own videos with the commentary.

 

tsua is pretty bad-ass on sfIV.

And i agree with gerns and will take it a step further: On those videos not only did he look like a scrub @ sfIV, but he looked like a scrub @ life. I can't tell you how underwhelmed i was by his commentary. Truly one of the most pathetic things i've seen recently. The amount of whining he did was incredible. What a terrible, terrible state of mind to play games from. Watch again, and notice that HE EVEN CRITICIZES HIS OPPONENTS CHARACTER CHOICES...EVERY TIME. Like his opponent is a bitch for picking ryu, right after he himself just picked ryu. what a loser

 

DSP is OK and TSUA is OK. Nothing to write home about really Gern. If you can bait DSP into whiffing that easily you better win. Not to mention the Rekka spams because its safe. I like to see how TSUA react to Pressure himself.

My only thing really is this. I know this isn't necessariy an adequate respresentation of who the guy is. Take me for example, i get bitchy sometimes when playing vf5. I've been known to cuss and punch a table or too. I've went thru a joystick once. But if i was taping myself playing vf5 and wanting to put it on youtube. And i watched the video, and i was whiny, bitchy, punching my table, and making an ass of myself in general...that video would have never made it youtube, much less as a 10 part series.

He gets on my nerves because he doesn’t man up to his errors. Were you to believe what he says you'd figure that he has never lost a match by his own fault. It's because of lag or some sort of ghost that interferes with his inputs.

A perfect example is when he whiffed his FA and exclaims sarcastically "Yeah that's exactly what I wanted to do!" Yeah champ, it is what you wanted to do. I can hear your stick, and I could hear the absence of anything when you were charging it.

Is he good? Well he's quite a bit better than me, I can admit the fact that I miss my imputs or make bad decisions / panicked.

imo, you take things too literally and too seriouslty, and then want to turn around and argue with me like i just made some terrible indictment of the person. Really, who made u his personal advocate anyways. If i wanna say he whines to much, then i'm gonna say it. Cop out...coming from the slide police.
