SSF4 Good Games Thread

Pretty good bait, I fell for this shit lol.

 

You can't blame that fact that you lost on everything aside from yourself. That's what welfare's for.

 

I thought him complaining about his moves getting beaten out at -16 frames was the worst thing about it cause it showed he didn't really even know about the game OR his character.

He'd keep sweeping, getting blocked for a guaranteed Rekka (Fierce Rekka is only 10 frames, so even if you wasted 6 frames with your thumb up your butt you will still beat his next move out). Then, every time it happened he'd act like something was wrong and just beyond his control... But... NO, it wasn't beyond your control! You were in one of the deepest disadvantages for a normal in the game and you just didn't know it.

To KEEP complaining about it, as if it was a system flaw or a flaw with online lag, is truly scrub-tarded...

 

I have known DSP for many years. I consider him a friend.

Phil is an exceptional player in SF in general like Slide has said. But he is also known for shooting his mouth and always making excuses for his mistakes.

When HDR came out we played some games of my DeeJay vs his Akuma. I always pick random in HDR and DeeJay is not one of my better characters. The funny part was every time I faced Phil's Akuma I had DeeJay.

Denkai pointed out to me that he taped the matches and put them up on youtube. He had named the series Akuma MADNESS

<u>He only uploaded the ones were he won</u>, granted he won more games than I did. I really could care less, I know that Phil was showing off how strong Akuma is in HDR.

It was crazy how I hit him with my super, I was expecting him to slide. He should have been able to block it but he didn't. Phil was highly upset after the match and wanted the controls checked out and demanded a do over. We checked the controls and they were fine.

 

Dispite what everyone is saying who actually know the guy. From someone who doesn't know him he looks like a complete ass in that vid with his commentary.

What's annoying us are the constant excuses for his failings in the fight. I make mistakes in fights all the time but I don't blame the game, I know if I did it right the move would have gotten off but I didn't so it's my fault. I don't go on bitching at the game, I bitch at my inputs.

He is not someone from the impression he left, that I'd want to be sitting next to while playing. I honestly don't know how any of you guys who consider him friends put up with it. If he truly is that bad in person too.

If he was sitting with me while ranting like that I'd tell him STFU and LTP instead of complaining about making mistakes and saying you didn't' mean to do it. It would not have come out if you didn't press the buttons so man up.

 

DSP was a former EVO champ at ST wasn't he not?

Wow I didn't know DSP was such a big shot. Makes my victory all the more sweeter! LOL seriously though, what's up with him discrediting my victory over him? But then again, I've had that experience with some VF members as well. I don't understand it though b/c DSP obviously isn't a noob(by gaming experience standards) and the same goes for a certain someone on this forum yet when they lose, they act as if they've been personally violated or something. WTF?

I can tell you this guys sf4 videos have gotten quite a few laughs at the finnish fighting games irc channel.. I didnt know the guy was somebody other than a nobody..

Im not saying that its uncommon to moan like that when youre alone playing online, but to put those vids up to youtube.. its a different matter.

Honestly, i just don't like being disrespected...but that's the internet for you, especially in a competetive enviroment. The impersonality of it gives people the entitlement to say things they would never say to your face. Oh well.

There was 1 vid where he complained about a Honda player jumping his Sagat Tigershots yet he never commits himself to take risks in the end the other guy won. Then comments saying its shitty game play but he forgets all he did was dash fireballs.

But also Go for the win HotD he has a big mouth anyway.
