SSF4 Good Games Thread

GGs to Douche! err... Dosh! Your Balrog was the best I've seen on SF4 so far. I remember playing crazy ones in SF2 but I haven't seen many of them translated into SF4.

GGs to Kamais Ookin. Dhalsim is a lil elastic hoe! Most characters have corner games, but when Chun has you in the corner, she can rape face like crazy. Her super and ultra become linkable for heavy damage. You gotta teleport outta there ASAP. When your retreating, I have alot of trouble keeping up with you. Keep going from corner to corner.

 

Since I barely know shit about this game I'm not going to go into deep descriptions. GG's to Cozby, Social Ruin, Happy Friend 76, and Teh P00ch (I have a feeling I'm forgetting someone but did I?!). I think I'm doing pretty well against these guys for only playing a couple times!

Does anybody have a link where it explains what the commands you see on screen are telling you to do?

I might be a retard, but I have no idea what I need to do to pull off Vega's Flying Barcelona Special. Just looks like a red dot with a z in it to me.

The up command can also be done using /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/ub.gif or /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/uf.gif

 

I was wrong, a lvl1 doesnt crumple if yo hit them in their recovery.

GG's today to Ughill, Ukdiddy and Myke. I only had one match with Myke though because he warned me it will be laggy and I took no heed and it turned out to be 1 bar after all! Really good Sagat you got though. Ukdiddy, your Ryu was a lot better then what you described it to be, keep up the good work. Ughill you used E.Honda and Zangief? or was it sagat I can't remember but what I do remember is it was harder for me to handle then your E.Honda, not to take anything away from thee but IMHO E.Honda's attacks were never meant to be efficient against YOGA.

GGs Cozby. Your Chun is getting dangerous. She's so fast! And Vega's backflip is annoying, you have to predict it to be able to punish it at all. And even if you do predict it, I can't seem to get it down.

ggs Chibiaya. You're damn good at those crossups and honestly some times when you crossed me up if sure as hell looked like you were not high enough to make it over my head. Half the time I didn't block it was because I was in disbelief that the hit somhow crossed me up. I just need to learn how to crossup better so I can defend against it better.

Good games to shinobifist last night. Nice set. I still hate rog but my dictator has been putting in that work lol.

 

ggs to chibiaya, yesterday I was trying to unlock seth. I still have to finish with Sim then I'll finally be done. I'm curious how he plays.

 

Bison gives me the most trouble, is those damn scissor kicks. Those damn kicks beat my headbutt on wake-up :0. It just takes me out of my flow. But, at least TAP seems to be working against your damn Bison(But not enough for the win, lol) just need to get into the habit of flowing it up with a charge punch and I'm ready go. I'm getting the "Glow" you'll see, lol. I really enjoy those matches, I started doing stuff with Rog I've never thought of doing. So ggs bro. I need to get my "Fight Money" back, lol. Hit me up anytime, ONE.

 

GGS to Capcom! i am enjoying SFIV very much. I personally think this version is up there with some of the best SF games ever.

It feels so good to land a nice combo in this game... The practice I've put in has been rewarding and fun. I really like a lot of the characters too. My top 3 favorites for now are:<ul>[*] Fei Long [*]Gouken[*] Abel[/list]They are all very cool characters and have some nice tools (every character has nice tools in this game. I applaud the balance.)

Plus, these three give me a feel for the different types of character... Abel is a grappler, Gouken has great fireballs and Fei Long is my rush-down character... I've been using Fei Long the most recently and think he's pretty fun. He is truly a rush-down and poke master in SFIV.
