Hello all,
Gathering is going on tonight around 7-8ish. Anyone in the Saint Louis area that reads this thread and hasn't come yet please stop by if your serious about learning vf.

Emx-Sorry, but I can't pick you up this weekend. I almost died falling asleep at the wheel several times last weekend.
Shou-sama-Shall we see more Jeff shenanigans this weekend???
Akai Masaki- Don't know if your free, but please make it if you can.
Killbomb-Sorry, but friday is all I can offer this weekend. I thought saturday was your partying night. I'm really confused?

For those who are wondering...

The skinny guy on the left is Troy (Sausageman), Omaha's Lion player (yes he hasn't changed much over the years)

The chubby guy with the Adidas shirt on is Lonelyfighter, Omaha's Shun player. Kinda sporting that slack-jawed, gruntish look that he's become known for...

The two-guys on the right are Cros (the thinner one) who is Omaha's primary Goh player, and I'm the chubby guy in the blue/white coat (I kinda play everyone else, just about)

Shau is actually holding the camera, so you can't see him.

Tim is the one striking a pose, and is the best host for a gathering, bar none. (and his wife makes great sandwiches....mmm....sandwiches...)

I think the other player is Killbomb (not sure if that's what you're board name is), lover of Kage's running K and the frustrating K+G string...

Tim: I'm confused myself. /versus/images/icons/smile.gif Seriously, 2 kids at work now have classes on Saturday and I am going to be stuck there until 10 probably at least 2 Saturdays out of the month until school is over. This Saturday happens to be one of those Saturdays. My regular drinking buddy lives about 30 minutes away so that kinda messes up our Saturday drunken routine. Anyway, I might end up being available for the gathering tonight after all. I might even be able to drag Bad Man and/or Red down there as well. I'll let you know later.

Good games to everyone at Tim's house the other night. I learned quite a bit from our matches, Tim. We need more souls though! /versus/images/icons/laugh.gif Hopefully, Greg will stick with it and Chris will return to us now that SC2 Nats are over. Anyway, I'm not sure which night I'll be available this weekend as of yet. Keep me informed of what the plans are.

The example you gave:
1) Kage's elbow is blocked.
2) Kage at a slight frame disadvantage (though opponent is not guaranteed to get a throw or hit) .
3) Because of slight frame disadvantage (don't know exact, so let's just say -5 frames) then when Kage attempt to and the opponent also , the opponent's will beat Kage's punch.
4) Thus best option: Evade-DTE or DTE-Guard

I think I understand with that example.but what you were referring to Pai's . I don't see how the first two punch's frame disadvantage add up to the third since the third punch is already connected. This leads only to a guaranteed throw frame disadvantage, I think.
