You know, I only said that stuff above to get you pissed and hear you confirm that you were going easy on me. If I would have asked you, you wouldn't have admitted it, but if I got under your skin, I knew you would admit it.

You don't seem to understand though, if I or anybody else is tearing, that means you are doing good, but it also means we are learning. This started in Tekken when Tii told me he used to go easy on me, I got pissed, and told him to play as hard as he could because it was only hindering me. Once he began to play hard, then not only myself, but everybody got extremely good.

Just to make sure you understand what I am talking about, let me give you an example:
I do a ending throw, you don't break it, I do it again, you don't break it, you finally break it, then I switch it up. If you are not throw breaking, of course I am going to keep at your weakness. That is why that series happened. So you need to blame my apparent shittiness on your lack of trying.

The thing that makes me happy, though, is when I saw your eyes after I beat you the last match. I think you were just a little mad because deep down inside, you know you were trying part of the time, and I was beating you during that time.

New to STL

Old VF2/VF3/VF4 player (now way out of practice) looking for the local STL scene that I've been hearing so much about on VFDC and in general forums.

Where should I be looking? When is the most likely time to get my newly newbed butt handed to me?

hey welcome to STL. If you wanna go to a hookup you should probably give Kaminari_Oyaji a PM, since he has cabinets and whatnot. I'm willing to host gatherings as well, as my schedule is pretty much clear for the whole summer. Anyway on fri/sat night is usually when we play.

It is nice to see that Saint Louis VF scene is doing well

and growing. In Ohio, we have about 4-5 people

playing this game.

I think I should have made this plan earier, but on this

weekend, I am thinking of making a trip to outside of

Columbus for VFing. It could be only myself or 1 or 2

more people who will make the trip. If Saint Lous crew

have VF plan on this weekend, I'd like to join you guys

and have fun. I don't have any detail about the trip at

this point, but it would be real nice if I get to make the

trip.Plz post your opinions here if you have chance.

I'm definitley down for it, but I think it boils down to what Yakiniku's situation is and wether or not you guys need to be hosted or whatever. I'd be willing to host a gathering though, since I kinda bailed on last week :\.

As far as the trip, I am definite, but my buddies are still

uncertain. I talked with them yesterday, and seems like

they need time for thinking. I assume it would be

myself and 1 more or by myself. I will let you know as

soon as I can.

2. We will leave for Columbus probably on Sunday if

it is ok with plans for Saint Louis people.

3. If it is only me, I will leave on Friday morning and will

get there in the afternoon. (around 5-6 pm I assume)

If it is me and 1 more, take off would be Friday

afternoon. That way we will get there on Friday night.

Again, sorry for uncertainty.
