Nah i was just talking Character looks-wise. i know Ryu a Beast Still. Basics overcomes all.

Is it just me or does this game look like it's going to be fucking awesome???

I've heard some people don't like the system too much but I have a feeling the changes wont bother me and that I'll love the game. I'm REALLY liking CAPCOM's attention to detail with bringing the exaggerated facial expressions over to the 2.5D format; I always loved the facial reactions in SF...

Quick question, how can they add 5 or so new guys to the console version and maintain balance? How were these character additions play-tested to make sure they weren't too weak or too strong? Did they release them onto the arcade version to be play-tested a little??? I'm just curious...

Regardless I'm psyched and I canceled my 360 HRAP pre-order and ordered the Madcatz SFIV Championship Edition stick (with the official Sanwa joystick and buttons...) They say it's a replica of the arcade cabinet controls; I'm down!!!

They absolutely HAVE TO use the netcode they developed for SSF2THD Remix, that code is the best yet, hands down. I wonder if SF2 HD was partly a large-scale, real world test of their future netcode for fighters; they are doing pretty well so far.

Sorry to sound like a fan boy but I'm excited for this game!

 

Not alone dude...this game is going to kick ass! Glad to see all my favs are in the final version...except 1 (Ibuki) I would have loved to have at least one character from SF3...would be cool to match up Balrog vs. Dudley. Dudley would kick his ass of course! Ying or Yang would have bin nice also…buut hey the roster we got is nice…as for balance issues I guess only time will tell, but am sure folks at Capcom are hard at work testing the console version in some secret lab. I was searching on YouTube for character alternate costumes and I couldn’t find Blankas, WTF could it be? Charlie? A more human form with all the same moves would be SIIIICK! and what about the console characters? Would be nice to see Fei-Long in the Bruce Lee Yellow jump suite and Sakura dressed similar her idol Ryu. About Sakura, Sakura is originally in the Alpha series which is before SF2 and now she’s in SF4 which is between 2 and 3…sooo shouldn’t she look a lil bit older? Anyways mad rusty with an arcade stick so am going to use my XFPS. Ha I still have my Street Fighter Anniversary Controller (ken), maybe I should dust it off…
And what’s up with Rose? Is she in or not ?...anyways Street Fighter Fanboy 4 shiz

Going to pick this one up so I have some reason to play my wii, haven’t touched it since Marion Galaxy.

They've already stated that they won't, sadly. They said the code coupled with SF4 was too demanding on the hardware ( yeah, right).

 

I can say Sakura is not broken at this point. She does shit damage over all and AFAIK takes a lot of damage too. The others, who knows. Gouken is really the only wild card, I've heard Fei Long is relatively weak as well.

 

I DON'T THINK GOUKEN IS A PLAYABLE CHARACTER. I THOUGHT HE IS ONE OF THOSE SNK UBER BOSS FIGHTS. ISN'T HE SUPOSE TO BE DIED. NEVERMIND I SEEN THE VID.

 

Gouken will be a playable character in 1 form to another in SF4 just like Seth will too. I have yet to see just how good they can be played at their best in any video yet but they are very powerful characters regardless.

I can't say I am excited about this game since I only played it 1 time, but I will definitely get it. I am even going to go above and beyond and pick up BOTH copies for PS3 / Xbox360. Normally I would just get the Xbox360 version, but I want the packed in movie that will accompany the Limited Edition bundle in BlueRay /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif ... Stupid 360 loosing the media war and still hasn't updated to BlueRay drives. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif

During the time of release I may opt to sell my PS3 version without the BlueRay disc for a cheaper price since I doubt I'll ever use the PS3 version. If anyone might be looking to pick up the game for that system at a lower cost, I may be able to help you out with that. This is NOT a final decision, so unfortunately you will have to wait till the games release date to see what I plan on doing. I'll let everyone know in case someone wants it but doesn't want to pay the full $60-65 bucks.

 

I'm actually really fucking psyched for this game. I've been listening to some of gootecks podcasts about sf4 and it sounds like an awesome game. I only have a 360 but I can't see how PS3 can compete with XBOX LIVE, so I think the decision is easy.
