Well that sucks--for newcomers anyway... I thought that aside from the trials, there would be some sort of "primer" for the new heads getting into the game, especially those who only played SF4...

I don't mind the game cos the system had to be changed u get me, But i still think 2k2um is too much in terms of content that game is just way too huge.

If you preordered SF3 on PSN you can play it on the 19. Shit. missed my opportunity . Had to buy a new motherboard. Bah.

tried to DL it last night but was having xbox problems. people on SRK are saying it has a lot of problems (input lag, hard to find matches etc)

what's your experience been rodney?

 

- Apparently ps3 suffers lag issues.
- It is sometimes near impossible to get a game in ranked
(why you would want to play ranked I don't know).
- Players are displaying false disconnection %'s
(70,000 is an example I saw).
- GGPO rollback is causing gameplay and sound issues.
- It's full of SFIV players.


A great package of a game, but it does need a patch or two.

 

Input lag? WOW I thought it was just me. There is huge input lag, but I just assumed that since I haven't played the game is years that it was just me needing to adjust to the speed again.

Maybe I'm being to hard on the game, but I kind of wish I didn't buy it.

I love SF3: Third Strike, so I'm sure as time goes on, I get back into the groove of it and they fix these problems I'll probably enjoy it more. Getting this news about input lag is definitely going to make me shelve SF3 until a patch is released to fix the problem since I don't plan to play this game offline.

And yeah it was kind of hard to find matches a few times. Also I thought this game was supposed to support some kind of Youtube replay upload feature?

 

At the moment you can upload replays to your own channel on youtube... If your a PS3 user.

On 360 you can upload it to a public channel. Until (or if) they allow 360 users to do the same (microsoft will probably not allow it, some silly reason no doubt).

Wouldn't it be great if we can do the same with VF5:FS replays?
