I have a sneaky suspicion that if Rich and I go everyone will be gunning for us in the tourney /versus/images/icons/smile.gif Sounds like fun! I'll let you know for sure if we can make it in a day or two...

However I'm sure we'll all try our best to clobber whoever is standing in the way of first place.

It would be good to have you guys come up. I can test my mettle against your Jacky again... so, close... I'll try and remember to throw, throw-counterable move this time!

Metro Square?

Any chance the tournament will be at Metro Square? Rich and I liked the atmosphere there... and by atmosphere I mean all the asian girls /versus/images/icons/smile.gif

It would be awesome if Robbie could make it! Haven't played against him...but if what Llan said was true, it would be a welcome change to see someone giving Plasma a hard time /versus/images/icons/smile.gif !

So I went to playdium today ~ no VF at all =[ They had tekken 3, mortal kombat 4, soul calibur and some other random fighting games. Oh well~ it was fun going up to the bar/private party area to get kicked back down because we tried to get some pizza >_< I handed back a slice with a bite out of it~

Hey guys,

What time does the tournament start? And it is Sunday, right?

Any chance of getting it on the VS city cabinents?

Any chance of setting the time limit up to 45 seconds? 30 seems very short to me...

Any idea how seeding for the tournament will work?

And does anyone have a street address for Metro Square, or could anyone tell me how to get there (we'd be coming in on the Queen's Expressway/Gardener)...

Yeah! Standard 45 seconds! /versus/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Getting to Metro Square should be easy. If you are coming from Gardener --> go North on DVP (404) --> exit to Steels Ave --> go East (stay on left lane)
Metro Square is on your left (North Side) after a few lights.
it is East of Victoria Park Ave & West of Warden Ave.

VF4 Evo Sunday!

Heya Gang,

Sorry for my lack of posting. Ok, here's the dealio.

The arcade opens at 12:00 Noon. Freeplay warming up, bash-around, etc will go from 12:00 to 1:30pm. At 1:30 we will start the tourney.

Format: Iron-man round robin followed by standard double elimination.
Cost: 10 bucks each.
Matches: best 3 of 5 rounds. 45 seconds.

Once the tourney is over, people are free to play Evo as much as they want /versus/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I haven't heard from Joe or Robbie...hopefully they can make it too.
