Just talked to Llan...he's trying to plan something so if anyone wants to play keep your Sunday open. If nothing materializes then I can have a couple people over at my place or we can just go to metro/video funland.

Last Sunday didn't work out because of the whole father's day thing. Anyway, just wondering if anyone wants to play this Sunday. And since Plasma is scared of my version A Akira /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif we'll need to play on the ps2...

Goddamnit! Sorry about not showing this weekend. Something came up, which was beyond my controll... so I couldn't make it out yesterday. How did things go? Also, when is the next time something like this might be happening? I remember you guys mentioning the possibility of weekly gatherings... is that still going on?

 

Saturday June 28: VF bash at GodEater's place

Motor City Jacky will be there hopefully but at the very least Myself, Kbcat and Llanfair will be bashing away at the entire Virtua Series.

Arcade VF1, VF2, VF3 and Evo plus 10th Anniversary special VF1 edition.

BBQ and drinks, Games and lounging...come come come.

Starts around 9 am and goes until we get bored.

Everyone interested in coming should PM me so I know how many to expect and can give out directions.

Anyone who doesn't PM me but shows up at my door gets a boot to the head and will be forced to do their best Sarah and Pai impression out on my lawn for an hour before entering.

cool. Big or small, I plan to have fun saturday. I haven't heard from Motor City Jacky yet but there's time. I'll set up the amiga monitor as well so we can have two stations. Retro and Current.

I'm not sure I'm going to be able to make Godeaters event because I'm traveling with people and we plan on leaving Saturday afternoon. I will however make an appearance at the Yonge Street Arcade tonight, Thursday June 26. I should be there 8-10pm, and I will stay if there's any VF interest. I hope to see some of you there. Oh and BTW I'm a 6' tall white looking fellow with a shaved head. I'll probally be wearing a hat that says "Made in Detroit".

Younge Street Arcade = Downtown Funland? The one at Younge and Dundas... across from 'Sam the Record Man'? I play SC2 there... but the VF competition seems more or less dead... I've only ever seen one person playing VF there (who wasn't a masher)...
