I totally heard him say at 3:30 that "The release dates I say later are all lies, and T6 is coming to DS in 2012".

I can't be the only one??

Well, that is really fine, Tekken 6 is a must for all fighting fans.

    BUT!!

WHERE ARE THE NEWS THAT WE ARE REALLY WAITING FOR?

If this TGS ends without a surprise anouncement of VF5R for consoles, I am joining Konjou in the "Slashing Wrist" thing.

    Please SEGA have some mercy...

Yeah the Fall '09 date is a long time to wait, but at least we're getting the latest arcade iteration by then, and online play. So you can't really complain.

Hopefully we hear of a VF5R console release by late '09.

I think this might outright kill any shot at VF5R hitting console. Too much competition.

Competition is good, it'll force Sega to re-think how they approach the console development, and they might have to step up their game.

If anything, it's the competition that might get R released...

And the fact that it's a long way off too. Just enough time to get in some decent sales before T6 hits console. But then again there's also SF4 some time next year.

Eh,are you saying that R probably won't sell if it's released around the same time as these other fighters?

It wouldn't sell nearly as much as Tekken 6.

If both came at the same time VF sales would be smaller than if it were released months in advance.

Bob is such a broken piece of trash character in 6. Did they finally nerf him to heck in BR? /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/sick.gif

VF4 selling better than tekken 4 just shows how much of a broken piece of shit T4 was. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

I know that. But I'm just saying that at high level, T5 was broken just like 4 was. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/blush.gif
