Tekken 6 on 360?

Tekken is not broken. Broken is the style of Tekken... the game itself is so broken that it collapses towards itself and cancels the brokeness...

I play a lot of TTT anyway... Can't complain /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif Don't have any VF arcade here

 

Right, I'm betting that within 3 weeks of the game going online gamefaqs.com will be full of people calling Eddy/Christie cheap and broken.

 

Eddy and Christie are mid-tier characters. They're not broken at all, just so you know.

I'm actually looking forward to this. Back in the day, I would play for days with one of my best friends who didn't play VF but sure loved his Tekken. We played a lot of Tekken 2-3-tag together after my the VF2/3 days. Surely Namco will be doing an online component? I haven't read anything about the game yet.

I remember being in Montreal at BigCat's VF2 Tourny and stepping up to #4 Akira playing Tekken 2. He was Paul P. I chose King. I pulled off a beauty of a Romero Special FTW 3-0. Yeah after that, he beat later in the VF tourny after I was up 2-0 on him. heh. Fear the SP0D.

 

Im starting think You just can't play it. People who know how to play it don't keep complaining that its broken.Every VF is broken So now what?

I just have to say that there is nothing like a game going multi-platform to show everyone who is a fanboy.

I just read a thread on TekkenZaibatsu, all kinds of idiocy being spouted.

I'm actually afraid to check gamefaqs for fear of my sanity.

Did you lot do this when VF5 was released on the 360?

I mean Microsoft got online and ver.C

 

You probably don't want to check SDTekken either (I only did because someone on UK:R said there was some funny stuff to read).

I did have a good chuckle at them, and then I feel horrified at the stupidity and lack of grammar in a lot of the posts.

This is just like when DMC4 went multiplatform and everyone (mainly the PS3 fanboys) was going "DMC4 can't go multiplatform, it's a Sony franchise, I'm not buying it now, we should all boycott it, Xbox sux, etc".

It's still coming to PS3 though. Get over it.

I remember buying both at the time. I also remember VF4 getting good press, and came out a long time after VF3 (4 years?). T4 was getting a roasting from a lot of the players and was rushed through in about a year I think.

I'd be amazed if an upgrade of VF5 could outsell T6BR especially as regular T6 never got released on console. Not that I like Tekken 6 though, I haven't like Tekken since Tekken Tag.

 

The days of namco backing sony and Sega backing, well Sega are done now. IF both VF5 and Tekken 6 are going to be on PS3, there was less reason to stay Sony exclusive, especially since Sega is racking up extra revenue, meager as it is, on 360. Namco always wants the Tekken series to be on the same level as VF5. Since VF5 is getting wider recognition by going multiplatform, it's only logical that Namco will follow suit with Tekken. IT doesnt matter, I know T6 BR will be online on PS3, so there's no reason at all to buy the 360 port. Unless I like music skipping and fading out due to lack of hard drive support, or the threat of the red ring of death during online marathons.

Sony fans , don't be greedy, you should want to share the joy of fighting kangaroo's and Pandas. <Scoff>.

My only problem with this is we have to wait for Namco to make a 360 version from scratch. This eleventh hour decision is what sucks, now Tekken is delayed like Devil May Cry 4 was. I mean VF5 took 8 whole months to finish on 360 after PS3, and it only had to add version 3 changes (slightly) better AI and online mode, something Sega already experimented on behind the scenes on the PS3 version.

I would say now Ps3 should get DOA4 and in the future 5, but after looking at DOA4 basic gameplay in comparison to VF5, why bother.

 

Wrong, I never said I didn't need a PS3 because Sony sucks.

I have every other PlayStation thus far.

They really dropped the ball this time around.

nice post but where are you getting your facts about T6 BR coming for online play on the ps3 and the whole skipping music on the 360 crap from. Don't spew BS unless you got some link to back it up with. They're going to be the SAME on both consoles.
