Yup lol!!!! VF3 did not have many safe moves at all. If a person played and understood VF3 you know that high risk moves not safe at all. In Vf5 high risk moves are safe just to lead into counters to make the game flow.

To think Jacky Beat knuckle was virtually a dead issue unless he had a great advantage. I wish there was a video that can show the Beat knuckle guarded animation..He look like he breaks his hand lol!!!.

They should bring back the block animations in the next VF. Tekken 6 has them and I think they work pretty well... I think there are strings in Tekken 6 which can't be continued after a block, especially low attacks. I've noticed if you block Chreddy's Break-dance sweep it knocks them out of the stance and they can't continue their strings. Beating Chreddy is is pretty tough. You really have to learn all of their options just to play even mediocre defense against them.

The more I've played though, I have the most trouble with Paul by far; his Death Fist is no joke. So far, most Paul players have kicked my ass. I need to come up with a better strategy to play against him...

I started playing the game using King, then I moved to Miguel and put a bunch of time into him. Now though, I find myself playing Armor King most of the time for some reason. He has some moves I like and he's pretty good from longer range with his handspring (and the two follow-ups) and his crouch dash + LP (super fast clothes-line with massive range and humongous block stun/knock back...

    A. King ftw.

Armored King is a beast...I prefer him over King. I think is range is better because of the crouch dash.

The animation in which Jacky Beat K (or any similar string)is interrupted involves when a Half or Full circular move hits the blockers arm in which the moves starts at. Basically It depended on the stance

Nah the beat knuckle animation when blocked made jacky look silly as hell regardless of stance...

His 6k+g when blocked looks funny also.

Unsure if i posted this before

    T6BR Frame data

Link to the site found through Tekken Zaibatsu looking for something completely unrelated. Not entirely sure how accurate it is but seems to match other things i've seen. Google translate messes up some of the names, but things can be figured out with a little testing in the training mode.

commands are VF like, with 1-9 the usual directions and RP, LP, RK and LK meaning what you think they would. WP is LP+RP and likewise for WK. Things in "[]" means one command quickly after the other.

people who know tekken please let me know if this is rubbish.

Some stages seem to have more lag than others. the snowy and gold ones tend to be slow motion matches for me. Try it out with a friend. might prove true for others as well.

I find the lag isn't that bad so long as i only play with Blue or Blue/Green connections. Orange is ridiculous, and red...[IMG]

    720p is weak. I can't believe this game is 720p (it's actually 576p) when T5DRO was 1080p.

Trust me it was due to stance. You can complete the string even if the Beat K is blocked depending on the stance both characters are in

    LOL,

I've had to play with so much lag (mostly red connections) and every third or fourth connection is orange, and every 20th connection is green [IMG] The odd thing about my lag is that its pretty consistent. So consistent until I can almost do the
pluses and the minuses against the off line frame data to produce a new online lag enabled frame data. Although what works off line will usually not work online even if you adjust for the lag coefficients, what you do get is a whole new set of things that will work with online-lag [IMG]

I have to use my underwater kungfu movelist when I'm on the tekken-lag-line. I'm going to have to pause a little while with Tekken anyway though, because AC2 is out, which means Tekken has to take a back seat [IMG] I'll be getting my daily VF 5 in, and then its on to AC2. I've made it to 4th Dan in underwater matches in 6BR. I think I'll give it a rest for a while, and have at AC2. Maybe by the time I finish AC2 the
netcode patch will be out for Tekken 6BR and they will have done something about the lag [IMG]

ina Tekken wiki does have mistakes, but is probably the best site (at the moment) for frame data. It takes information from arcadia magazine, tekkenzaibatsu website and japanese posters.
SDTekken is bring their own frame data (but probably using inatekken as one of their sources).

There will be a T6 perfect guide out this year, from the group who historically has provided the best data.

Will it be one for purchase like the blackbook or should we expect to see it online?
