KOF 98 is one of my all time favourite games, this trash B movie is an insult, how did Ray Park go from great films like Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace and the X-Men to this garbage ?

maybe they'll pull a guilty gear and make him a zombie/ghost and give him a different name (zato -> eddie from ggx to ggxx).

also tekken 6 is fucking weird as hell, tekkenzaibatsu is the absolute worst "competitive" fighting game site i have ever seen (honestly the biggest thing preventing me from picking this game up is the lack of information; even searching this whole thread i came up with next to nothing) and god damnit why did bbcs have to be such trash.

i guess i'll just play ggac for the rest of my life and continue to pretend to care for vf.

I know CT is passé now but what is wrong with CS?

I would try it out if I could, my PC can't run it. I guess I'll have to wait until July.

Whats broken in it considering that I heard they nerfed many of the current combo obscenities like Nu's refloats without meter etc.

Lol no. Just cause you saw the death combo from Arakune doesn't mean he turns the game upsidedown like in CT.

Top tiers in CS tend to be alot better at dealing big damage off random hits. However, unlike CT top tiers they can still be beaten by being outplayed and tight spacing.

CT top tiers enforce their game from nearly any point in the screen. CS top tiers still need to apply fundamentals to bring their stuff out.

Arakune is a 1 trick pony that has to take big risks if he wants his curse really fast as he needs to hit them with drive several times.

The worst character in CS has a much more realistic chance of beating the top characters compared to CT where everything is a diceroll.

same idea. in spite of being an overall improvement, it's become slow and incredibly boring. matches take forever now (a lot of which are still ending in time overs) and people are still mashing upback for defense.

what makes me unable to drop the game (past the local community, which is damn awesome) is the fact that it is such a huge improvement over ct; i just wish they had done more (slowing down jumps, buffing throws, actually fixing bursts, nerf instant blocking, etc) when they had the chance.

i'll stick with it for the hype, the new blood and the money, but hell if i won't be mashing t6/ssf4/whatever between matches- i can barely stand to even watch this game.

on balance: ct was more balanced than most people gave it credit for; outside of the top 3, every character save for tager was more or less even across the board- and the top 3 only really dominated the bottom 3.

in this game, everyone is good except for rachel.

Ha ha! Couldn't agree with you more. TZ is the worst gaming website in the history of the planet. You have to comb through with a magnifying glass to find useful stuff and most of the posters are either whining or straight up noobish. I was disappointed by that site when Tekken 6 came out.

SF4 gave me more enjoyment than Tekken 6. SSFIV is my next fighter for sure. Looks cool.

I have bunch of VFDCers on my friends list, but only mista tee and i are playing tekken.

well, i suck at tekken, but i wanna play some of you guys who play me often in VF.

I was but I got bored. Manji is playing Tekken at the moment and I think Marly still plays from time to time.

I'm positive I seen Cozby on it the other day but I might have been wrong.

You can forget me playing tekken to the states though. Its barely feasible to elsewhere in Finland.
