I'm kinda curious as to which character you guys use. I started with Lars but he was too boring and simple so I switched to hwoarang. Now I'm trying to main lee though because dude can wall carry to pluto with b2_f. Once he has you on the wall its pretty much game.

I play Steve and then Miguel and before I stopped I was using Bruce.

Started with Lei, really liked him. Went to Feng, really liked him, too. Learned Baek and Hworang a bit to better understand them. Learned Bryan thinking I would play him. Now I'm pretty set on Steve. I realize a lot of people hate on Steve, but I care not. He's way too fun.

i started with bob, but he's such a dumb scrubby character that i get bored quickly playing as him.

so currently juggling between julia and miguel.

Well if someone here still plays tekken, send me a friend request. I suck at this game, but I get bored to VF now, so tekken is really fresh for me. (I dont like tekkens system though...)

I use Lili as main, and im having fun with mokujin in ranked now. lol


BTW, me and my friends were talking about tekken doesnt have good character balance unlike VF. We think Steve, Bob, Alisa, and Lars are stupidly broken in this game. Especially Alisa. She is like low risk high return character. I use her as sub, but even i dont know any good poke moves, she is really strong.

Why would Bob be good? He doesnt have very good lows or even a launchpunisher usually.

Alisa and Lili are really strong in online, lol.

because basically, he is also low risk high return character.

Lilis combos are very strong, my maximum wall combo is over 120 damage, but she doesnt have good punishment moves for both mid and low.

against stupid scrubs, Lili is one of the best character in this game, but not against good players. she is like high risk high return character like Paul.

Lili has two safe launchers.. Nearly every move she has avoids something high/mid/low (both of the safe launchers avoid lows). She has exceptionally good okizeme and wallpressure. Her hopkick frikkin tracks. She is better than Paul imo.. even though doesnt have that many good fast punishers aka Kazuya twin pistons/EWGF etc. But then neither has Bob. I dont really know anything particularly good about Bob.

I still cant believe you think bob is not broken.

If you wanna make combos with bob, combo starters are punishable, but i was talking about poke moves. Bobs combos are strong too, but he doesnt have to make combos...

Plus, this frame data might be correct, but i cant trust these frame data. Bunch of my japanese tekken friends told me there is no correct frame data for tk6. They also told me how stupid namco is too...

about okizeme in tekken. Every character has good oki, i mean if its okizeme, it is always nitaku no matter what. its not just lili. you can avoid their okizeme by keep laying down, but still you have disadvantage anyway...

I think lili is strong too, but bob is way stronger. I used to use Bob for a while ago, but i stopped using him cuz he is too strong...

Neither does Steve, and he's pretty strong. In lag you can abuse his PAB stance by spamming PAB d/f+1,1(2) and d+1, and 1+2 can beat the opponent's retaliation if they try to hit him out of the stance.

I agree with bob being too good. His pokes are very good. Plus he has two safe launchers, three if you understand the risk you take if you duck vs bob. They had to tone down his df+2 cause it was at 0frames on block before BR. But I don't think he would be such a problem if he had less hit confirm moves that are so strong and less tracking with his moves. At close it can be hard to make him wiff moves because his pokes track in a stupid way. I don't think he is top 5 but for what he can do it’s kinda dumb to give him these options.

lili is strong with pokes. Her poking is good offline too. Most lili's I see play feel the need to flip and cartwheel so damn much in hopes of a combo. Yes I get she has a crazy crush window but if they just stick to simple pokes she is good. She can control with frame advantage well. Just don't get greedy. Crush moves should be used as crush moves not random combo starter.

Alisa is good vs slow characters, but will lose to strong poke type characters. She is just bothersome because she has a stupid quick mid, quick low, and quick back dash. Learn to deal with her pokes and keep at mid range if you are slower character. At mid range you can SW her all day. Just trick her into using the wrong fff move at that range.

She'll lose to strong poke characters? I've seen Alisa destroy great Bruce and Steve players.
