I'm maining "How Wrong" and subbing with Steve.

 

I think I'm gonna stick with Dragunov/Miguel, though I've been playing Mig more. Bruce, Marduk, and Steve all interest me.

 

Yes, this thread was meant to be dscussion about tekken generally, not a matchmaking thread..

@MP_Lupin, Leo is a guy. In scenario mode he is referred to as 'he' by Alisa and others.

I remember when Namco first gave a storyline to Leo they stated she was portraying the part of her twin brother.

Im a noob in tekken but my best character currently is Lili. Steve is my second. (Originally gravitated to steve via a tournament with him being top tier and all... but I like Lili.)

 

The online connection works fine here in Japan. I guess you need a fiber optics connection to play this game. But even with that I have experienced few match with slow down all the time.

My list of used characters goes like this;

Tekken: Kazuya

T2: Kazuya, Jun

T3: Jin, Law

TTT: Kazuya, Jin, Jun

T4: Kazuya, Jin, Law

T5: Kazuya, Jin, Asuka

T5DR: Dragonov

T6: Kazuya, Dragonov

I might wanna try Law here he looks so damn awesome.

 

I played with Bruce a lot in T5DR but damn he feels so new in T6. In a good way doe...I like what they did with him...but what they did with Drag is so sweeeet....DR was his intro so he had to be tweaked a bit. But now he’s just a fucking beast...closest thing to Goh Tekken has....I really like Asuka too. With Asuka, Bruce and Drag to master, that still leaves 37 characters to learn over time. This game is going to sit in my PS3 for months to come.....After seeing some Yoshi vids on you tube I really want to learn how to play with him. Lars also looks cool as fuck, Tekken6 answer to Jean. Game has at least 5 additional characters I want to pick up.

Another thing I like about this Tekken is the deep customizations; I avoided playing some characters in past Tekkens because of the way they looked. But now you can make someone look completely different. Got Sergei looking like the muh-fucking Joker. Just a real awesome game, only let down for me is the graphics. Players look aight, the lighting is reeeeaaalllllyyy good but some of the effects like the ground and wall breaking stuff look last gen. Fucking VF5 had better graphics dude and that game is old as fuck. Like that Lau stage, when you slam a muh-fuka on the grounds the bricks don’t disappear and shit. Tekken has some really cool stages but the old school effects are just strange. Why couldnt they just use the same engine as Soul Calibur?

I don't know why, while some people end up playing blonde haired white girls I play black guys. I think they just fit
my (*cough*racism) playstyle a lot more. I used to play Marduk too unti l realized he (Sneeze*wasn't black) wasn't very good.

Nah I just dig those characters. Shit I was one of the first Eddy Gordo faq writers (damn that sounds lame and is) Sides Jeffry isn't really black....just looks like he could be, and Vanessa...well...she was black in VF4 =)

Heeey! Those are my mains and I'm not racist Lol, I did notice that the opening movie has no blacks (was looking foward to seeing Raven doing his thing).
Althoooough, the opening movie does have most of the blondes in it except for Steve, Jack-6 and Lars

Nina, Lili, Bob, Leo, Lars, Paul, Jack-6 and Steve... wow, it seems like blondes are the new Japanese in fighting games

 

Slightly OT:

I swear, the more I play these two games (VF and Tekken), the more I'm convinced Slide was right: Marrying the two games would create the daddy of all fighting games.
