My impression, is that Jeffry Blaze and Taka are in the "Raphael" category. They have the tools, and if played by a superior player they're okay, but it is an uphill battle for sure.

The number of tools that Kage, Lion, Lau, Shu, Akira, maybe even Wolf have in comparison is kinda unfair.

    I'd rate it:

Very good: Lau Shun Kage Akira Lion Wolf?
    Really good: Sarah Brad Goh
Pretty Good: Eileen Pai Vanessa ... Aoi
    Goodish: Jacky Lei-Fei Blaze
    Kinda Decent: Taka Jeffry

There isn't any decent Jean players in this part of Oita, so I haven't really learned how to play against him

Just replaced with a different kind of shitty music.

I haven't watched the trailer but my money is on shitty techno.

I like shitty 80's guitar riffs in my VF and I like the music in the last trailer for TTT2. Has a very Tekken feel even though it sounds more like the electric fountain stage in 6 than older games, still has that TTT or T3 vibe.

Lol, you're chasing the dragon if you think Namco's sound team will ever be on par with the T3/R4 days. They've gotten better in the last 3 years and I still enjoy em, but yeah, not gonna happen haha.

T3's intro music was quite good but overall I found T3's soundtrack to be quite average when compared to T2. I still think the console version of Tekken 2 had the best soundtrack of any fighter ever. Almost every character had a perfect track to suit them which is something you don't get nowadays.

I'm glad you can at least have custom soundtracks in many fighters nowadays (on the PS3 at least).

You can with the 360, I do it all the time when playing my games, specifically fighting games since the music is not as good or whatever, it seems fighting game music is getting worse with each new installment, well (for me at least) there's always at least 1 or 2 good/decent tracks.

The trailer looks looks pretty cool. I'm a bit concerned that Jun Kazama is back.

Yeah, It's great Jun is back, so many fans wanted her back and it was stated that it was only Jin that thought she was dead, she was really missing. It's also cool that Jinpanchi (Heihachi's father) is returning along with True Ogre, and I'm also glad there are old stages returning such as the school, the frozen church from tekken 5: dark resurrection and others. I also really like the designs of the new stages. I hope Unknown from Tekken Tag 1 returns or at least a character that plays like her since she could switch to any mimicked fighting style during gameplay.

Namco has had a card system since T5, they got the technology from Sega themselves. [IMG]

What is new is one card will keep track of stats for individual characters for one account. In other arcade fighting games you would need a separate card for each character. This is a great addition (and duly needed since this game is team based).

Brings back memories of playing VF4:FT and watching Sudden_Death fiddle through his 4 character cards not sure which was which. heh heh

Not only that but unlike VF their arcades outside Japan have actually had a working card system too. So T5, T6, T6BR cabinets over here (UK) actually had functioning card readers and cards for sale. VF4, Evo, FT and VF5 never did here though. We also missed out on the change move system in VF4FT due to that.

This trailer looked really exciting but hopefully the gameplay will also be a whole lot more interesting than T6. Can't imagine what the ques are gonna be like when this game hits our arcades but looking forward to it in the summer. Console might be a long wait but probably nothing like as long as T6 console.

Obviously Sega-AM2 were the pioneers to introduce character customizing and card-system philosophy with VF4, bur now it seems that namco has surmounted Sega and they offer something that many fans were craving for (that's what the narrator mentions - many fans were yearning for this card-feature). Multiple character profiles in one card. And moreover the stats and ranks do not cross/mess each other for the various character profiles.

Jun is back!!!! Personally, I'm hoping for Kunimitsu to return...

It also seems like they're trying to bring back that old school TTT feel with the music (some throwback songs + some TTT-esque songs)...
