Supposedly both Ogres will be back in TTT2... I'm wondering if Alex will be a separate character now, and also if Gon will return, since he was owned by Bandai originally...

I still think True Ogre is the dumbest lookin' boss... and now his arm looks like a bunch of dicks.

Atleast the Damage scaling is good this time around. Always been a fan of Tekken tag. Always wanted a VF tag.

This... looks remarkably like Tekken 5 (at least to my untrained eye, that is). So did Tekken 6, in fact - a bit more polygons here and there, but...

Heck, I guess that's better than SC series at least, where Namco tries to revamp the entire fighting dynamics with every installment and just ends up #!@#ing it up. Don't fix what's not broken?

They'd have to revamp the whole engine to do a tag version. And if that were the case, this would have to be the 2nd VF with a 4th button...

    /offtopic

I am also glad about the damage scaling. Then again, no one has really figured out a good, strong tag combo just yet.

Don't matter if its a 4 button our not.. My hands work. Hell i use a sega saturn pad to play VF if i could. That 4th button analogy still does'nt make vf a less deep game if its added. VF can pull it off better cause Sega knows what its doing entertainment wise.

On topic.. Can wait to see those damaging combo's. Just hope the reuired skill cause it seems the tag combo actually bound the player then pop him up so you can get your timing together.

I'm pretty sure there's gonna be some old school TTT timing involved in some really good combos. Like remember how it took a good amount of skill to bust out Lee's f+4,4,4 2-3 times in a combo? Not many people I knew could do that consistently, and their skills were tight.

@Jeneric - Namco sent a machine out there for a bunch of beta testing awhile back. There was a combo vid that was done awhile back by some guys there. That probably explains why you guys got an authentic arcade machine there.

If this plays like the first i'm down. I liked TTT1 and T2 the most of the series. Tekken 6 was so bad I sold it one day after I bought it. Only game i've ever done that with. That trailer or clip looks good though, so i'm hopeful..
