That first match was crazy, sorta... True Ogre's used in a combo, and it didn't have any breaks in it, so it seems... So even if you're hit with just one hit in the string the rest seem guaranteed-- I might have to look at that vid again to be sure... Normally things like that aren't guaranteed, unless its the low hit you're to look out for...

I do like how they gave him some new moves, even though its the new moves that some characters got in T6 (Paul's 3,2 and Yoshi's df+3,1 I think)...

I still hate that stupid arm... And what's up with the Pelican look??? Is Namco taking shots at that company Pelican??? Gimme that lion's head back...

That second match made me wanna pick up Ganryu again (I only used him in TTT)... Seems like he does more damage than he did in T6 or any Tekken for that matter (maybe a slight buff from T6 to TTT2)...

Can't wait to see some Feng in action...

 

Hwoarang's LFS unblockable is causing quite a stir right now, but apparently it will be fixed in an upcoming patch.

The move is strong because:

1. It does a fair bit of damage in combos

2. If the opponent techs, the move tracks no matter where he goes. If I remember this correctly, if the opponent somehow ends up behind him the move will still track

3. If the opponent chooses to stay still on the ground, Hwoarang's partner can still do whatever while the unblockable is executing



This move might be the only reason for why Hwoarang is considered S-tier in this game.



EDIT: He's considered A-tier now.

 

Here is Aris' review of the Arcade version of the game. He's definitely disappointed and says so himself. The Tekken Series is pretty much dead to me now unless they change a lot of shit.

So since this update is so big that it could be a "new" game, does that mean that they've totally revamped this juggle-fest of a system that's plaguing TTT2? I guess only time will tell. Hurry up next week!

A new video has been released. It now has 1v1, 1v2 and pair play mode! They still need to fix that killer damage in the combos though.

I could see the game on september, I mean, I doubt that the port will take that much, even though don't know what kind of characters will add or extras like story mode or those things

I'm more of a 2d guy, but those games this year are a bit bleh for me, this year we had TT2, DOA5 and VF5FS, I think I will focus more on those this year

Damn, Kunimitsu lookin' hot! I wasn't a fanboy of her, but that new look is too awesome, and definitely peaked my interest(pun not intended, lol). If her movelist doesn't suck, I'll use her whenever I get around to the game.

I´m really looking forward to this one. Somehow Tekken Tag was the only Beat´em Up which made my non gamer friends play videogames easily.
