Yea, console meets are the best places to learn, and to break bad habits. Thats almost the whole point of having a console meet, other than the extreme amounts of fun of course. I don't even own the game, or a playstation for that matter, but i've learned a lot just through meets. So if you're gonna be in the area, you might as well stop by. You practically owe it to your self : )

thanks for thinking about me, but I doubt I'll make it. Maybe... work is just too insane /versus/images/graemlins/frown.gif

On the plus side, I donated my import Evo to work, and we now have Pandemic VF team! If I can convince a couple of those guys to come on Friday, maybe I can make it after all.

yes this is a call out . . .

on a side note, anyone getting directions using the garey exit to the e3 meet, the garey exit sign has been tagged. So look really closely and stay on the inside track. Caltrans took out our standard green road signs for some small orange signs on the merge lane for some reason -_-;;

we got 5 visual setups, 4 tvs and a projection screen. and only 3 consoles. we're short 2. I'll be hopping around e3, and buying snack stuff for tommrow, so give me a call at 909-234-8326 if you can help out.

Heh... 13 people at the maximum. Then Spotlite, Andy, Joey, Sean, GoatCheeseBlues, PhoenixDth and I played till 6 am. E3 was held outside with 5 set-ups. Having the sun come up around you while playing Evo is wild.

Joey won the tournament with Kage from the losers bracket, Spotlite 2nd with Akira.

I came home at 7am and worked in my yard for 5 and a half hours. I feel a little strange not having slept.

Looking forward to E3 2004

some pictures of the meet, even showing daylight outdoors 6 am -_-;;

I never got warmed up till like 3am =/, shou already left by then, so too bad I couldnt be much of a challenge for the time you stayed. Theres a picture of spotlite with his 2nd place Tawain Beer prize and Joey with his first place macadanian chocolates.

Fun meet overall, hopefully we can get another big meet or two before evo2k3 - defend hometurf against maddog jin.

I'd like to thank everyone who came to the meet, especially shou and Kirk. It was a really fun day and was definitly worth all the set up time. Congratulations Joey. That was some insane stuff you were doing that night. Of course, it would be wierd if we won our own meet, so team Tokyo Mafia won't be holding back next time. So watch out ! : )
