Anybody else catch the fights last night? Bader is baaaad man. Vinny is also a fucking tard. He should of been sprinting to pull guard. Dude throws a few kicks on the reality show and thinks he can strike.

another good live event from the UFC!

Bader was an expected win in my opinion. Vinnie only moved forward because Krystof was retarded and chased him on the ground. Vinnie is a great jits fighter but that is all he has and he's definately afraid of stand up battles. I predict some Ultimate Fight Night exposure until he gets hammered and sent home for good.

Junie was always kinda funny. his post interviews on TUF always presented a fairly thoughtful fellow - you throw that same guy into a house with unlimited alcohol and no entertainment and he shuts off half of his brain. It was good to see him take out Kaplan.

 

Still don't like Dana much but this vid blog he put up of Wanderlei Silva, Rampage, Forrest Griffin, Nogueira, Frank Mir and Rashad Evans at the Video Game Awards was pretty cool.

as I have two huge bets on the fights tonight I am very very hyped.

 

I got Nogueira over Mir, Forrest over Rashad, and *suprise* rampage over wand. I think rampage has improved alot and he isnt planning on standing with wand.

 

TheUgg, I don't blame you for picking Nogueira over Mir but Forrest over Rashad? It was def a battle but Rashad is undefeated for a reason. I know this has been said over and over but he really does keep getting better and better everytime he fights.
Oh and Mir is the truth. I hope Brock and him battle again so that Mir can prove why he deserves the belt over Brock. Nothing against Brock but Mir is way better.

GodEater, how did you do on those bets?

I had to chime in and rave about Rampage. Wow, simply, wow. He wasn't looking the same whenever he talked about this fight and he just seemed, well, kinda scared but did he prove the opposite tonight. When I saw what happened at the weigh-in I knew that Wande was ready mentally but Rampage seemed to want to show that same kind of energy inside the ring.

The guy was so cool under pressure. This is the kind of guy you want to go to war with. Mortar shells dropping, bullets flying and you know this dude will still crack a joke or two. My kind of warrior /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cool.gif

Don't want to give too much away for those that haven't seen this UFC event yet but if you love MMA, trust me, you want to watch this event in it's entirety. Not one match went the distance. Devastating k.o.'s left and right and the main event was THE main event. An awesome battle between Forrest, who I have more respect for now than ever, and Rashad.
This was the best fight event I have ever seen in my life.
