Do you guys watch the MMA on Showtime? It's not too bad. They have a lot of boxing but they also show Strike Force here and there. I think they and their parent company (ABC) own that league...

 

I wish I had HDnet. They show the Japanese promotions and I like how the game changes when knees to downed opponents are allowed.

 

I like Rampage but hes talking so much shit i actually hope Evans shuts him up!!! The way hes acting is a disgrace especially for a fighter of his caliber and experience !

 

My wife wants Evans to win, surprisingly for how Rampage treated his "team" after their losses on TUF. (Yup, I married a good one).

Getting closer to seeing an Ontario sanctioned UFC event. How close remains to be seen but it is obvious that the UFC is serious about expanding into Canada. the fact that Canada accounts for 17% of all revenue generated by the company is simply astounding and that is likely where a huge deal of growth is going to come from.

If we can only get the knee jerk reaction politicians to keep their "human dog fighting" rhetoric out of the conversation we might get somewhere.

So much for rampage beating Evans! More like 'quitting' Rampage Jackson lol that's what he gets for all that crap talking it just makes him look so much worse when he loses!

 

I'm sure you had your pick in the fight like most people, but outside of a spirited third round by both fighters, the rest of the fight for me was absolutely abysmal.

Was your take on it different, or is this just some sort of "nyah nyah my guy won" type of post?

I don't know what you saw in the first two rounds that you thought was abysmal. I saw Suga very nearly ruin Rampage in the first minute and then shut down his every option for the next nine - completely controlling him through speed and position.

The last round was a heart stopper for me as I was rooting heavily for Evans. Evans must have totally been in Rampage's head for him to have rocked him so badly and then not pursue him AT ALL. I was hoping for more than a decision but that was a great little fight.

man...Melvin...that knee was vicious.
