C'mon, Social. Are you just trying to find out who the Kockcheck fans are? Seriously, who would cheer for Koscheck?
Even if you didn't care about his antics outside of the ring, who can respect a guy who fakes eye pokes and knees on the ground?

The guy is probably the #1 douchebag in the UFC right now... nope, can't think of a bigger douche than Josh in the UFC.

The boos for that guy are going to be deafning this weekend.

Edit: "Ref knocks out cornerman after he picks a fight over the decision"

    Koscheck was robbed
What's the deal with GSP not finishing Koscheck? I love GSP but that was weak.

alves vs howard deserved FOTN. not the gsp fight, although it was pretty good. Tony, if there's anything people can say about gsp negatively its his lack of knockout power. I actually prefered he beat kos this way. a prolonged five round beatdown.

It's too bad but GSP isn't known for his KO power so unsurprising: Josh was able to keep the fight standing by diminishing the fear of the GSP takedown ... this enabled him to always have a wild card edge with his power hand which kept Georges fighting safely behind the jab.

Great fight for Georges (despite the lack of a finish) and it highlights his ability to just dominate a fight tactically. If he could combine that with the finishes he had years ago he'd be the complete fighter for every type of fan.

Not that that's hurting his ability to soak up adoration and sponsors. [IMG]

as for fight of the night, I totally agree with Dana that the prelim fights deserved that honor, and I like that he said he'd take care of Pierson and Riddle.

Fuckin rawesome. Def in my top 3 for fight of the year.
I've always wondered why nobody uses the cage for momentum and I always thought it was because attacks off of the cage were prohibited... but I guess that's not the case.
I like how he fainted a punch off the wall and then kicked him with the same foot that he used to jump off the cage with.
Since Smooth was expecting a punch he thought that he was out of range. Should have had his hands up.

I've seen a lot of MMA in my life, and have been a fan since UFC 1, but that has to be the best move ever done in MMA. That kick deserves to be in the history books of MMA for all time.

The whole fight was awesome but that kick was something special. Just the fact that it was a move that had never been done before, afik, AND it landed so flush it was just perfect. I was watching with the wife and just started screaming.

If you listen to the post fight interview, he said that his camp trains all the time with that kick, and he has even more.

So, if he's bringing that to the UFC whoaa, can't imagine the copy cats that are gonna start tryin that [IMG]

Yeah, I heard him say that. He's a really good fighter, I was extremely impressed by so much of what he did. The round where he just hung on Henderson's back like a monkey, just punching him, for an entire round!!!

Also, some of those scrambles they got into on the ground was an awesome display of wrestling and jujitsu. Petis has great technique IMO, I was so impressed by him in that fight.

WEC is underrated, always has been.
