I thought Silva would pretty much woop Chael, then while watching Randy Couture's UFC148 discussion, I started thinking that Silva could have actually lost the 1st match...so this is turning out to be exciting.

...what will definitely be interesting to see is how Silva will take out his aggression out in this match

The first fight seemed very scripted, Anderson will smash him. Chael. He couldn't even defeat Bisping for F's sake.

Wasn't that knee illegal? Lol. And I only saw a small clip of the finish, but it seemed like the ref stopped it a little early.

Meh. Silva did not "change the face of MMA" as he said he would do. Sonnen made a mistake, tripped and Silva capitalized on a mistake. Silva won, but was exposed for a second time.

Opponents are afraid of Silva "the Spider"'s BJJ and ground game based on years old performance and choose to stand with him. Silva then pulls the "Matrix dodge" and counter-hits to victory. Sonnen was having none of it, and during the Matrix dodge, put a double on Silva and put his ass on the mat (both in this fight and in 2010). Sonnen then exposed to the world that Silva's 37 year old BJJ is fraud.

Sonnen is an NCAA wrestling champ, but Sonnen is no spring chicken himself, and his spinning back elbow put him off balance. Had Sonnen stuck to his game of putting Silva on his back and working the submission (he had 2 or 3 in the first round), Sonnen could have beat "the Spider". That said, younger fighters need to study this tape and the 2010 tape, and see that Silva is exposed.
