We played yesterday, I was using Kage. I just joined the forum, so sorry if I came off as being cocky off of one win. Maybe we should play a best of five.

Good job, but noone was finishing their matches anymore and a lot
of people dropped off. This was really an experiment to see if
people could deal with a tournament like this. One match a week
didn't seem that demanding but eh.

They can't. Technically speaking since you didn't get your
match in until today. You are both knocked down to tier 2.
Similarly to how I was knocked down to tier two for being
unavailable the previous week. So you're "late" win would
be tainted sir, since I'm undefeated as well.

Rules are rules. I'll stick with the shakedown.

Easier, and I don't have to hassle people to stay on top
of things.
