Throw Tiers! Who has the best throw game?

Just delete the nonsense, mine included, and get back to it.

 

The nonsense kind of entrenched in the last three pages and would be difficult to remove. Please just get back to the topic.

Note: I believe Jeneric plays an excellent game of VF. I also find him a tad abrasive.

My skull is often thick and I appreciate people's patience. Other people likely appreciate patience, too (thick skull or not).

I don't understand when theory fighters get mad when "real" fighters tell them there theory is wrong. That's like having a theory, then making an experiment to test it, then finding out that your theory was wrong, and getting mad at the experiment for it.

Theory fighting is great and all, we VFers I think do it the most out of any of the games; for good reason. However, I put far more weight in real fighters who have battle tested their stuff than people who just know what to do but can't actually do it.

 

So let me just try to reiterate: Slide was saying Sarahs /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/f.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/db.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif is bad because...she cant backwalk away from rising kick?

I was trying to say jokingly ("have you considered blocking the rising kick?") that thats kind of weak argument.

Lastly, what makes you think we dont experiment this stuff?

ps. I tested fallen angel. She can backwalk away from rising kick provided you skip the light down attack. If you do light down attack she cant even step away from rising kick, but you can still beat the rising kicks, /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/uf.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif+/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif beats low and /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/k.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif crushes mid rising kick for a nice combo. With fastest rising speed no timing is required.

 

And so, what make you think that Manji and Jeneric are theory fighters? -_-

I think everyone agrees that Wolf is best when it comes to throws.

 

This is the whole problem right now, you guys just don't understand what is being said, you take it far out of context and play around with semantics to try and prove a point:

That's right, I didn't. Because it's not. It is a VERY important and good throw for Sarah.

I said Jacky's throw game is a half step better than Sarah's, and I stated why(this does not mean Sarah's throws are bad all of a sudden, it's not even close). Leave it to you guys to pull random stuff out to try and confuse me and everyone else, to go far away from what was originally said.

Some of you guys always do this, take stuff out - build something new - discuss that using extremes, then try to make someone look like they don't know they were saying, when that's not even what they were talking about in the first place.

It becomes exhausting to actually post something about the game, cause you guys drag us into needless defense like this. And in the end, you guys look like you're coming off sincere(and maybe you are), but the other guy ends up looking like they're pissed off or an asshole for trying to defend their own point.

I think Aoi's throw game is very powerful because she can stagger you and manipulate your positioning in the ring very well. I get Ringed-Out by Aoi more than any other character... Even Kage and Wolf.

ps. Slide: I apologize if I came across as arrogant or something. I just didn't understand what you were trying to say. Isnt "half-step better" kind of digging into it too? I thought this thread was relatively simple until everybody started posting opinions about this and that and I felt like commenting.

A half step better, it was just my way of saying his throw game is slightly better than Sarah's. Nothing to do with actually 'stepping' movements, if that's what you mightve been thinking.

Jacky and Sarah's throw game seems to be very close but I'm saying that Jacky's throw game benefits from vanilla 5 more than Sarah's.
