Reno, what day are you available? Do you have any specifics or is one day all you can afford to give up while you're in town?

The more we know the easier it is to plan. that said, I may be out of Canada myself that weekend anyway...travel plans for work are slowly coming together.

Yeah, problem is that I'm arriving on April 30 and leaving on May 5. I don't know when on May 5 I'm leaving but I'm assuming that it'll be in the afternoon. Having said that I think that it's possible that a Thursday or Friday night is best. Having only 4 days to see everyone that I want is a pain in the ass. /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif

I'll be at T8 for sure to rep Tekken 5DR. I would love to enter the VF5 tourney. the only problem is who will run it? And do we need to bring our own PS3??
Plus if enough people are interested in this then we could host some warm up tourney's sometime be for hand.

 

I wish I could go but I'm still living in Japan. If I was in Toronto I'd definitely be down for organizing this at the event, but alas I can't. Maybe next year I'll time my vacation to coincide with this!

 

I'll be there playing some other games. But I'll enter VF5 if GE and plasma-san enters ^_^

 

I don't mind running the brackets. But I still don't know if we need to bring our own PS3.

Alrighty, things are pretty much set for my vacation, April 30 till May 5.

I have to spend my last night (Friday) with my family, so is Thursday night (May 3) alright with you guys? I don't know if there are any internet cafes with a PS3 yet, but if someone has the system and game at their house, perhaps we can play there? And would I have to bring my HRAP3 with me as well?

April 1st I had some old VF buddies come by and we had a blast with VF5 on PS3. Someone from this board actaully called me up and ask to come over, I gave him directions and address but the guy never showed up. But anyway we had lots of fun.
If anyone else is interested in future VF 5 gatherings I'm usually free on weekends and my place VF5 and my HD TV is always free. LOL

We can meet up definetly. Just note that I also don't have a PS3 and I live in the furthest part of 'Sauga (Northwest near the Milton border [407-Brittania]) and I don't mind travelling for casuals. Just as long as you're not far as...let's say Yorkdale or so. I'm too used to taking the subway for Orbit tourneys there.
