Onny, maybe you could show me some stuff with Brad, I've started to use him recently, I'm running out of ideas!

 

Logistically it could be a nightmare but if enough strings were pulled and everyone worked together then it could be a huge event.

That said it really does need some high level organistaion and planning if its to be a sole VF tourney experience. The sooner peeps get to work on it the better.

You seem to be living by ancient social stereotypes...who do you know who has played everyone up here? No one thats who, as no single south based player has played all the north uk players. In fact theres probably loads more than I know of up here (about 30/35) who aren't even members here.

My point, minus rude remarks, is that we up here have never championed ourselves as amazing vf players. Its folks like you an ironmike that have to add snide remarks about that the fact we're all rubbish all the time.

I know a few south players from this site and none of them have the short sightendess that you do. Never once have they said we're crap at vf because we're from the north yet this is what you always say.

It seems like you don't know what you're talking about though. Me, Ade, Darius loads others here are dedicated stick players. Its only Elite, Elitev2 and Nakura that use pads.

Its funny though cos with the first sign of me posting to help organise something and get players involved, you rubbish us for being from the north and then elitev2 for being a pad player. What is your problem?

yea i was thinkin a council hall near a tube would be fine, got to start lookin now for one as im free all week now, got to think about seats aswell, donno about projector hire, it could get nicked or broke, better if i borrow one, that way i could get the person to look after it there an then, a projector would be purely for viewing mind, as depending on what spec it is can delay the video signal for up to half a sec!!!

Regarding Elitev2 comments:

If you take the time to check out any of the few threads we've done you'll see his record as it stands. In a nutshell LiMeng-EV2 was a tight match in our biggest meet and LiMeng-DeLune was even tighter with LiMeng taking a 2-0 lead at one stage. That should show you how close EV2 and DeLune were since you know how good DeLune is. Elite only lost 3-1 to DeLune too with most of those rounds being close ones. Elite n EV2 are both pad players but so what? The fact they could almost hold theor own against DeLune should at least show you they're good at vf.

 

Chris, yet again you are right, and yet again certain people cant be bothered to READ what you say, they just prefer to fill up the page with "im more of a man than you" pre-made speechs that they found on role playing chat rooms.
you should just sit back and enjoy the fact that this loser with all the threats is by far inferior to us....

I'll be coming to London in a month or so (dates still to be confirmed). This time I'll only wear a t-shirt instead of a sweater, so I don't melt under the intense trocadero heat (LOL), I will TRY to get wins against G-ho's Pai this time (he DESTROYED me last time /versus/images/graemlins/mad.gif). Still to quote Yazz: 'The only way is up'

I should be able to come on the 5th or 12th of June (Both Saturday's I think). I better get practising again with my Kage, I don't wanna let him slide (I've been learning backstagger's with various character's at the moment, and I've got to get back to my Ninja!).
