To EV2 I didnt really speak to you since I was downstairs in your brothers group but you both seemed cool. This issue started before the thread so thing is if you guys confronted each other and survived that with no exchange, why you want to start it now. And Ev2, you comin deep and intellectual which is all good in some instances but here you`re adding fuel to the fire by trying to make all Random`s post seems pre-homo sapien like and hostile when if you know him like we do you would know he`s short tempered and will stand up and speak if someone says anything derrogatory to him.....But we got love for him, that`s random, just as we respect you for taking a bus load of total strangers in for the luv of tha game....

Hope to see some good old VF talk back out of you 2 soon, this is kinda sad for UK VF as we always seem to have some beef... /versus/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Although I'm finding this highly entertaining I think the bs should be stopped for the greater good. Take your unnecessary posturing, spell check, fight of the millennium showdown else where, if anything your wasting bandwidth.

Due to popular request, consider my mouth shut!
As for the bus-load of strangers, I think it is fairly safe to say that if the people on the bus have travel a hundred or so miles to play a computer game, then it is pretty safe to assume that they mean no harm. Plus, I really wanted to play, and I was very upset when I found out that we couldn't play.
Just to point out, I have a lot of cash spare at the moment, and I (and possibly Andy) might be able to come and play sometime from the 23th-29th, if anyone is interested.......


P.s. one final note to Random, I'm not really pissed with you or anything, i'm just bored stiff and looking for something to do. peace man.

An apology in advance for butting in, but my personality is such that I find it difficult ignoring the ranting of a complete cretin.

Random may be your "mate", but his constant racist babble on these forums winds allot of folk up. It's not just his threats of violence when someone confronts him that brands him a total wanker. It’s comments like this, posted in a thread inviting people to play VF in their hometown of Leeds that go beyond the pale of decency:

"respect to any london head going, but i guess id rather see londoners dressed up scary insted of scary leeds peeps "

Now that to me smacks of thinly disguised racism. And that's not the only remarks of this nature he's made. I remember him referring to foreign people in London as "grubby immigrants", and well as strings of remarks about northern English and even Scots.

It wouldn’t surprise me if he was a member of the British National Party.

Well funny enough alot of VF players are black and dont have any quarms with Random...Anyway, the main thing to note here is that Ev2 has agreed to let bygones be bygones and hey, you ever come down here, let us know in advance and we`ll be glad to play some games....

As for all the racism etc etc hey i`m only here really to read up on VF, and I NEVER want to read about such in a games thread, so let`s leave that off this post. I cannot speak for random, but i`m sure we all want this bs to end pronto... nuff said

To Vosor: I've played VF in London a couple of times, and actually played you at Gamefocus one Saturday when you were on a mad 15 win streak. Everyone I met that day was totally sound. Had some fun in the VF cabinets on the troc since then too.

i would choose wwe king of the ring 94 when jerry the king has to lick bret harts toes but thats too much but it seems like something has to give.

I would be more than happy to have him a first to whatever, but I don't use a stick, I use a knackered old Ps2 pad, but if I lose, he is more than welcome to it!
I am actually trying to come down to London to play some people, but I need to find a host who has the time and the contacts (not to mention the space for me to sleep over) to organise it. Andy wants to come down too. Any takers?


P.s. Who does Random use? I didn't really get to see him fight because I was too busy recording the matches, and by the time I had things under control, the group stage was over and he was knocked out! Just my luck. Still, I would like to play him, (although this wouldn't prove who was right about the previous argument, as it had nothing to do with VF), I have heard from people that he is quite good.

nahh, only game ive been playing is snes sf2 turbo with my kid bros, my brand new copy of burnout3 and fifa2005 is still unopened! (fook EA!)

anyways im more in to colecting oldschool AJs at the moment, and getting some THX rear speakers!

anyways i mainly play kage or akira, as they need the most inputs to play with, its boring playing with the rest!

I suck at inputting commands, I can't even do the maximum damage combo from Akira's Yoho, which is why I stick to Jacky. I hate Kage, his moves are annoying, and he never seems to be throw-counterable! I find it quite easy to beat Akira, I have played quite a few people who use him, and I can beat them all quite easily.
